Why can't Americans include the people of other countries in Veteran's Day? Filipinos around the world that have fought and served with the Americans are still waiting for RECOGNITION for years. YEARS. Not just Filipinos but other people of different countries also! Many people have helped the Americans in many wars such as WWI, WW2, Vietnam War and other wars! They didn't just fight them all by themselves! WHO AGREES?

I have an old cello (like a big violin with a spike!) that I've noticed an inch long, quarter inch wide(at it's widest), black dent in the woodwork by the finger board. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Should I be worried?

an empire? Some of the reasons of the roman empire falling:large Military Spending to defend its vast territories and ongoing wars, Urban decay in its largest cities, Inflation, Unemployment and Political Corruption..all of these intertwined and led to the fall of the roman empire..when you look at the reasons can they not be used in an argument for the american 'empire' collapsing soon?

I found this painting on tin at a yard sale, and i know it is very old, but can i date it by figuring out the uniform on the soldier? the woman looks victorian..was the civil war in the late 1800's? what did their uniforms look like? if it is picture of a civil war soldier and his wife (portrait style), is it neccesarily worth anything?

Surely you cannot be so biased & partisan as to say that this was the one war where all 974 issues at stake were purely good versus evil. And if you do feel this way, please tell us something else that might surprise us, or tell us what a surviving Roman, Soviet, Neo-Ancient Egyptian, Napoleonic, Inka/Maya/Aztec/Commanche/Sioux, or other world empire might have done for us by the year 2006?

I'm looking for a website or program of some sort that can help me create fancy type of lines to put under a logo (you know, lines like __________ or -------------), and they need to look kind of between a toothpaste texture or a cake frosting type of texture. Or to make the search simple enough, lines that look bubble-like. Thanks.
