Modeling and Acting?

i live in the united states and i'm really interested in modeling and acting. does anyone know any good agencies or websites i can get information from?

acting, like for television and radio, generally one of the best is SAG (screen actor's guild) (i think that's spelled right...) it costs a bit to join and get an agent (i think its $3000 or something along those lines) but if you have time for all of the auditions they find you, it is worth it..

You must take acting lessons for TEN years before you consider coming to New York City. If you want to be a model or actor, you MUST live in NYC. Many of the the models you see on magazine covers live/work here. You have to live here if you are serious about modeling. When you are older you can move to NYC and try to find a modeling agency to represent you.

Never look online for modeling agencies, you will only find SCAMS. When you are ready to move to New York City you won't have any trouble findind modeling agencies, if you meet the requirements of the agency. If you look like the models in magazines you have a good chance of modeling here.

not to be too rushy, i would try out for one of the school plays or even try a talent show. sometimes, depending on where you live. people will call girls up to 15 to see if your interested in acting or modeling. i know cause i got called. they wanted to meet everyone at a hotel and stuff. i didn't try cause it cost about 3,00 or 5,000. which is a lot for me.
