Till the age of five, I used to believe nothing had existed until I had been born. The world in my (childhood) opinion was directly correlated with my own arrival :)

So when do you think, did this universe really get born the way we know about it now?

With our world still trying to get out of the artistic crysis that the world war II let down, how can we get the good or the best arts reach the people out there instead of the crap art that is currently marketed?

I'm halfway through "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" by Susanna Clarke and enjoying it very much - her narrative is wonderful and it's extremely witty. The only downside is it's taking me ages to read, but I guess that just means I get to savour the story for longer!

I often have this feeling of not quite fitting in. Like I am so different from anyone else. I'm asking this question so that you can have a place to share your feelings.

I will award the best answer to the one who gives the most creative and most descriptive answer. You're welcome to include a joke, a poem, a picture or even tell a story :D

Modern wars are so controversial,in the past people were fighting on their own land defending their own people, but now its all messed up,basically its the strong killing the weak usually,no struggle ,no long marches,no hunger, just modern equipment and saddism.

The evil corporation is a recurring theme in a lot of thriller or science fiction novels. However, it's not a genre in and of itself. Can you name some good fiction books that have an evil corporation as a backdrop and the efforts being taken by the lead characters against it?
