Hi, taonanc, free is a promotional gimmick. Nothing is free. Not even the smile someone flashes at you. If someone flashes their pearlies at you, you need to put your hand on you wallet, purse or money belt.
Just now, there was a knock at my door. There was a young lady who was offering to clean one carpet in the room of my choice. She said it was free, and that I didn't have to buy anything. All I had to do was shout to the neighborhood the assets of the vacuum she was selling.
Nothing is for free.

If you stop and think... There is NOTHING in life FREE.. You'll pay for everything one way or the other, right down to the air you breath...The word TAX says you pay for the right to live and all that goes with it..About 30 of us sat around a club one night and asked that question and there is NOTHING...GOOD QUESTION, By the way this question even cost me to answeer. Air, freewill, and.....oh wait thats about it. There is a price for just about everything else, even if its not money. You must sacrifice something to get just about everything else....
I also heard somewhere we're supposed to have freedom of speech, but...guess not.
For places like soup kitchens and stuff you give up your pride..not sure if thats the word Im looking for but havent slept in awhile so just guess what I mean...lmao.
Another example....Douglas_g said sunshine. Not true. We are paying our future for that....Even though the sunlight is CAUSING Global Warming, I should hope you know about greenhouse gases...The sunlight is in essence what the problem is, even tho Im pretty sure when God made the universe he didnt plan on us baking our planet.....

Nothing is free. Example: some waterparks let you use one of their digital cameras to take pictures for free ... but you have to buy the pictures.

I wonder the same thing. they say the air is free, but we get sick from it. a kiss,a hug or loving someone is free.
