I played Lady in Orpheus Descending. I think I was too young. Anyway- We did paper the house from time to time and I gave my school friends freebies yet after the performance not one came round to see me and I had my own little dressing room.Is'nt that mean?

I moved to the USA to escape reality, but I have only found myself getting stupider. Booze is great, but I hate the hangovers. Other than smoking Crack or being 'Saved' I have just about run out of options. What is it about reality that most people find so satisfying? Is it truly overated or is everyone else doing their best to Ignore it just like me?

I know that China was occupied a couple of time by northern invaders but with a history spanning over 2,000 years that does not mean that it was not *generally* effective. For example, many other invasion attempts might have been successfully thwarted with the aid of the Wall. Or maybe it was good at keeping out petty raiders and brigands who would otherwise perform hit and run attacks. Anybody know?

I'm interested in using an older Polaroid for some fine art projects. What kind of camera and film should I look for? I've heard type-59 for color transfers, and type-55 will give me b&w negatives.

I really don't know how to categorize this one.
How is it that we really obtain knowledge?
When we say that we ourselves have invented things, we know we haven't. We take ideas that already exist...
Take this site for example, it wasn't invented. It was taken from other ideas. This site is a mix of chat, forums, and knowledge bases. The content was not invented, it was written by many people, then, it is given to Yahoo to take forever (and they are free to do what they please with it)...
This theory applies to many things, including the first two computers: ENIAC and ATANASOFT (spelling may be off)
There are many things that I could think of right now that apply to this theory. Same as borrowing ideas and whatnot.

Based on this theory, where is the basis of our knowledge?
There must be a network of shared information. Where could it have started?

Please only reply if you have the general idea of what I am talking about, and only reply if you actually have something useful to say.

I am currently studying Philosophy and I am curious to find out what other universities/colleges are offering in their Philosophy studies.

Where I am studying, we are following a Thomistic approach to Philosophy, so our Ethics, Epistemology and even Metaphysics is Thomistic.

It's a big controversy, whether or not smoking should be allowed to be shown on screen or not. I personally think that is a good character choice and developmental to the state of the character.

Many militant Muslims believe that it's right to force people to submit to Allah's holy law, even if it means using war. Is anyone prepared to say that they are wrong in this particular belief? In other words, is anyone prepared to say that this particular belief is untrue? And how do you know it is untrue/wrong?

WOMEN

Some that will, some that won't;
Some that do, some that don't;
Some that should, some that would;
Some that can, some that could.
Some are short, some are tall;
Some are big, some are small;
Some are pretty, some are smart;
Some have wisdom, some have heart.
But all of them are special, you see,
All of them are admired by me.

I wrote this and copyrighted it in 2001, but would it sell?
