I really don't know how to categorize this one.
How is it that we really obtain knowledge?
When we say that we ourselves have invented things, we know we haven't. We take ideas that already exist...
Take this site for example, it wasn't invented. It was taken from other ideas. This site is a mix of chat, forums, and knowledge bases. The content was not invented, it was written by many people, then, it is given to Yahoo to take forever (and they are free to do what they please with it)...
This theory applies to many things, including the first two computers: ENIAC and ATANASOFT (spelling may be off)
There are many things that I could think of right now that apply to this theory. Same as borrowing ideas and whatnot.

Based on this theory, where is the basis of our knowledge?
There must be a network of shared information. Where could it have started?

Please only reply if you have the general idea of what I am talking about, and only reply if you actually have something useful to say.

Knowledge is a product of the understanding that follows from a properly reasoned analysis of an observed fact of reality given to us through our faculties of perception of that reality.

A fact of reality is of little value to us and does not qualify as knowledge, whether it is a real or imagined belief, until we come to understand it. In this way, the knowledge we gain is a possession we have rightfully earned unless it is stolen from an unwilling party by a threat or act of violence, deceit or a failure to gain the consent of those from whom we obtained it. The act of understanding is our entitlement to the knowledge we have gained and the products we derive from applying that knowledge is likewise ones personal property.

The knowledge we now possess is a compilation of bits of knowledge painstakingly gained one fact at a time throughout the history of the human species. From the first person to discover that a stone properly held was a better tool for pounding than their bare knuckles and the first person to breath the life of fire back into a glowing ember we owe a great gratitude to those who left us with the great legacy of knowledge we now enjoy and the benefits we derive from its use.

Although some of the benefactors of the knowledge we now possess where very productive in gaining knowledge by virtue of their unyielding desires to understand the whys and how’s of the reality we live in, none alone could have produced the products of our technological ingenuity that have evolved in recent years such as the computer or the modern automobile. Things such as these can only be created and produced by large teams of people with very specialized skills. None of this would be possible if it were not for those who first developed and employed their faculties of reason and sought out an understanding of our reality.

I hope this provides you with some insight into your understanding about what knowledge is and where it comes from. If so your welcome, if not thanks for asking anyway.

WELL, IT IS THE VERY FACT THAT HUMANS R GIVEN THE ABILITY TO THINK BY GOD. IT IS THE CURIOUSITY IMBIBED INTO US BEFORE OUR BIRTH THAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THINGS WHICH R NOT CLEAR IN THEIR MIND. SO, AS A SUMMATION OF CURIOUSITY + CORRECT THINKING, THE KNOWLEDGE PRINCIPLE IS IMBIBED INTO US DUE TO WHICH KNOWLEDGE IS OBTAINED. OVERALL ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IS THE RESULT OF THE VARIOUS EFFORTS WE TAKE TO FIND THE TRUTH. WELL, SINCE THESE EFFORTS R BROUGHT ABOUT BY THE CURIOUSITY AND THINKING ABILITY GIFTED TO SOME PEOPLE BY GOD, THE CREDIT OF THE KNOWLEDGE PRESENT IN THIS WORLD GOES COMPLETELY TO GOD ONLY.

I think knowledge comes from experience and passing that experience on to others who may chose to experience it directly for themselves. Or they may choose to indirectly experience something recorded or transmitted to other people or through time.
