Where can I find GOOD textile stores in NYC? The price doesn't really matter as long as the fabrics are good quality and don't look cheap. Would be great to get the website addreses to the stores as well! I was actually wondering where the fashion designers get their fabrics from? I am presently working on my portfolio with designs and I need to make it look fabulous to get to the fashion school. Thanks for your help!

I am a serious actress but if, when I was leaving through the stage door, I found a crowd of male admirers barring my way, how girls would I communicate to one or two that something might be on? I suppose I mean, how do the Rolling Stones do it?

I purchased a calligraphy kit from Barnes & Noble today. It came with 2 pens, one of which was a quill type pen. There are also 5 different ink cartridges. They are small, maybe around 1.5" in length and full of ink. I am sure that these have to be punctured some way and inserted into the pen which unscrews in the middle. I am just unsure of how to go about puncturing this and putting it in without making a mess.

For adults and kids, I'm not picky about age range. Person with most listed that I haven't already read gets 10 pts.

PLEASE keep the rating of these books G or PG which means fairly clean language and little violence and no gratutitous adult situations.

I am an aspiring actor - but I have no experience at all!
I really want to get involved in local theatre productions, like helping out backstage or even being in a small non-speaking role. I don't want to get paid, I just want to be involved & be able to see professionals working their craft.
Any suggestions as to how I can go about getting involved in the Sydney theatre scene?
Much appreciated!

I enjoy painting but have never made a penny out of it. I really would like to live off selling paintings but don't know what would sufficiently sell to make a living out of it. I need some kind of direction in art.
