I like reading to find out answers to common but unasked questions from everyday life. I also enjoy the brain-teasers but (and I'm not saying its true!) I sometimes wonder if she just goes to google and looks up the answer or consults someone who specializes in the field it's related to. Her answers seem a bit too accurate to be something she already knew (Which I feel is what the column, intentionally or not, leads you to believe). But all in all: Yes.

I don't, really. Her being smart somehow has given her the idea that her opinions are more important than some other's.

Being smart is one thing; having style, sense or emotional intelligence is another. I know plenty of smart people that have none of these other abilities.
