One day your minding your business when BAM you slip on a banana peel and fall down a sewer. Moments later you emerge from your darkened hole and scan yourself to see if your ok. If check for a pulse but you can't find one. How creepy. Maybe you're checking right. You check again. No your definately dead alright, that and, your head is completely the wrong way around...

So seriously, if you died and returned to this earth as a zombie, with all your thoughts in tact, what would you do? Would you continue your life as normal? Attempt world domination, confortable in the fact you can't be killed? Learn to dance like Michael Jackson in Thriller?

What would you do?

UI have just answered a question on ghosts someone else posted and it made me think (which is always dangerous)..

Ghosts are seamingly ubiquitious, every religion, culture, country and belief system has them, and have done for seamingly forever; despite all attempts by science to de-bunk them, their legend endures.

However, we are now all sat at computers, we never know who is at the other end of the line in Answers: could there be the ghosts of computer users on line right now? Answering as if they were regular Jo's?

Come forward, step into the light....

I asked my teacher this, and she didn't really give me an answer. I just can't help thinking about how Medea did all those wrong things for Jason's sake and then bad things happened to them, and when Jason did all those wrong things for "Medea and his sons," bad things also happened to them. It chuckle whenever I think about it. I didn't find any line in the script that showed Jason's stand on the killings. Maybe Jason said something about it before the start of the play.

What do you think?

If there was a group of people dying, and the only way to save them was to kill the one you love, would you do it?

Would you do it for one other person? For two? How large of a group does it have to be before you would kill the one you love to save them? How many would you sacrifice for your love?

Recently while reading a review of the poet Olena Kalytiak Davis, by Ira Sadoff, which appeared in American Poetry Review, I came across the expression, "the lyrical 'I'." Having googled it, I see it's been mentioned in literature. I keep thinking of Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass. Am I on the right track? Can anyone offer a succinct definition? How does this contrast with the metaphysical problem of 'I'?

FINAL INSPECTION

The Marine stood and faced his God, which will always come to pass

He hoped his shoes were shining just as brightly as his brass

Step forward now you Marine, How shall I deal with you?

Have you always turned the other cheek, And to my Church been true?

The Marine squared his shoulders and said, No Lord, I guess I ain't

Because those of us who carry guns can't always be a saint

I've had to work on Sundays and at times my talk was tough

And sometimes I've been violent 'cause the world is awfully rough

But I never took a penny that wasn't mine to keep

Though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills just got too steep

And I never passed a cry for help though at times I shook with fear

And sometimes God forgive me, I wept unmanly tears

I know I don't deserve a place among the people here

They never wanted me around - except to calm their fears

If you've a place for me here Lord, it needn't be so grand

I never asked or had too much - if you don't I'll understand

There was silence all around the Throne where saints had often trod

As the Marine waited quietly for the Judgment of his God

Step forward now, you Marine - you've borne your burdens well

Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets. You've served your time in Hell

Anyone here like the series? Favorite character? Any opinions on it?

I really love this series. It got me a little more into reading. So far it's the only actual series I can stand to read. It opened up a whole different part of my life when I was about 12 and got me wanting to be a writer. They actually gave me motivation. Although my heart broke a little when I found out Katherine got other people to write most of them.

Anyway, my favorite Animorph is Cassie, since she likes animals, and I can totally relate to that. I hope to do something with animals when I get older. She's my favorite Animorph, but Erek is my favorite character. I have no clue why. He's just so cool, lol.

I just finished the third book, and I was so sad. Why, oh, why did Zane have to die, and why does Tally have to end up on the oposite side as Shay again? Also, has anyone noticed the the last word in the Uglies book is pretty, the last word in the Pretties book in special, and the last word in the Specials book (before Tally's signature) is ugly?
