My sister - a genius in acting!

All time is difficult, since I haven't been around for the "all time" of acting.

In a previous generation, I'd say Laurence Olivier, for his acting in Wuthering Heights and Hamlet. He was a trained Shakespearean actor and his control was marvelous.

As for now, I like Michael Keaton. He is the only actor I know who can, with so little in the way of changing himself through the use of props and make-up, appear to be a completely different person. So much so, that if I sit down in the middle of a film, not knowing he's in it, it can be a long while before I catch on.

Among women, I really Emma Thompson and Rachel Weisz. They can both do both serious drama and comedy beautifully.

Over all, I tend to like a lot of British actors. I think their training is better.

IN the USA,ytheres ,nobout a'dout it : Marlon Brando was a great actor , a great method actor.. His role of the GODFATHER inthe mario Puzio films, was absolutely believable . His role as a broken down boxer in on the WATERFRONT was almost a docudrama. finally he also acted oh the stage and its following release to the big screen of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF(Tenesse William's great play)is unparalleled IN THE HISTORY OF MODERN STAGE AND FILM ACTORS.
my PICK OF A BEST FOREIGN ACTOR.When you think of great UK ACTORS, almost automatically of Keneth BRANAGH.He was originally a great one on the stage and went on to direct and star in several shakespearian movies. he brought the stage to the people on the small sceen and the big sceen. H e made made modern day mystery movies such as "DEAD AGAIN" AND MOERNISED A LITTLE BT OF SHAKESPEAR:"TITUS ANDRONICUS" Is NOT FOR YOUNG CHIDREN Or THE FAINT OF HEART WATCH..Definetly one of his most cruel and violent sexualityl in this play where SHAKESPEAR ASKS the question what hoppens to a society that hasgone mad. well the fates takeover and they can cause anything you fear could happen.and of course his3 star production of "HENRY V" WHO MADE SUCH A STIRRING SPEECH PRIOR TO ENGAGING HIS "WEARY BAND OF BRIOTHERS THAT I FELT LIKE GOING AND SIGNING UP,

I would consider Kamal Hassan to be the best. I think so because of the utter diversity of his roles, and how he has made them all believable.
