I once knew a guy who wrote a book of poetry. He printed several copies on nice paper, bound it by hand with corn silk, and stood on the street corner reading outloud and selling copies to people who passed by. He sold his book for $15 and made about a hundred dollars in one day.

Who's gonna buy it ? ....
It really doesn't even matter how old you are.
Some people publish their own books, then sell them on their
own. Some editors have told me, you don't have to get your
writing copywrited. They said, as soon as you put pen to paper
that's it. As long as you have your first drafts( keep them) it is
proof. Also all you have to do is mail your poems to yourself.
Any court will totally recognize this, if you ever to have a lawsuit
but, most people don't to steal others, writings, and have to go
to court. So, they said your safe. And really, though Good luck.
