If you spend $ 10 feeding a cat, then that is $ 10 that is not spent on a mosquito net, and a child in China dies of Malaria.

Someone might say, I am not good with people, I do not want to volunteer working with people. Well, get a part time job where you do not have to work with people, and donate the money to charity. Work is work right__???

I know, I know, this is not an easy question. Heck, I have a dog, so I am a complete hypocrite.

BUT

It does make you stop and think

Look forward to the answers.

do you hit on women in public places (like shops, supermarkets, malls etc.) asking for a date or just sex? Or do you know any of your friends who do that?

Doesn't it feel awkward to do that? I mean like isn't it immoral to do something like that to a stranger in a public place? If the woman complained to the police, you could get arrested - right?

I was at a club with my friends and we got a table, and we were all drinking and dancing and everyone was having a good time. I went to sit down and my friend sat down right next to me, telling me she’s having a good time with me, and she was hugging me and holding my hand for a good five minutes. This was happening right in front of her boyfriend and he was looking at us. I felt really weird because this was happening right in front of him and I wasn’t sure if I did the “right” thing. I just went along with it and it felt really good when we were together for that five minutes. I do respect the other guys property, but when their girlfriend comes up to you, how should you are supposed to react?

The Shi'ite / Sunni / Kurd population ratio is about 4 / 1 / 1. And the Democrats are waiting for "reconciliation" instead of pushing for complete partition into three totally separate countries. Is this a great country or what?

I'm really thrown about this episode. I have never seen it before and either has my mom but Nick is talking like Lily and Daniel are still married and they arn't so it must be a repeat. Whats going on? I can't believe I missed a episode. I thought maybe Nick was being reminded of the last two years of his life that he forgot.

For any of you who have seen this news from California, doesnt it seem a bit suspicious that Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata, whom has been pushing for gun control, got Carjacked in Oakland. He was stopped at an intersection in the middle of the afternoon, allegedly waiting for a red light.
A man tapped on the window with a gun, and he got out and let him take the Car. So two days later when the police recover the car, it hasn't been stripped. The 22" rims are still attached, Car is intact, and all his belongings...including the cell phone, are all still inside.

Legitimate carjacking? Or Media Publicity stunt to legitimize gun control?

I live in Michigan. My bosses are trying to spite me since I gave a 2 week notice. I have a set scedual & work about 35 hrs a week. They gave away all my hours to other employees I found out today when I went to work.

I heard that there is some law that states they have to compensate me for these hours wether I work or not, for the next 2 weeks.

Is this true, can you help me?

Catherine maiden name was Matthews. They were born around 1808. They had 8 children that I know of. The last I knew they were in Staffordshire. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me discover more about them like there parents and siblings. I would love to find their head stones and possibly get a pic of them. I know that some of the family lived in New Zealand too. I know that the last name there were Young and Pearson. I have a picture of the store they owned.
Some day I will be able to go England and Step where my ancestors stepped. Anyway,I know 2 of the children (James & Enoch) came to America in 1871. They migrated to Plymouth Pa. Pearson could have been spelled Pierson too.
Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I am 30 yrs old. I have a fiancee. I have 4 herniated discs and have been on pain medication for 7 years. My father and my fiancee huddled up behind my back and have decided I shouldnt be taking them anymore. So now I face an ultimatum from my fiancee and meddling from my father. I have never abused these drugs. Ever. Period. However due to news stories of abuse, they assume I have done so and will not listen when I say no. So now, they firmly think I abused them and I am under house arrest of sorts. My fiancee monitors my entire day 100%, I cannot even take a dump with the door shut. My pockets, cellphone, belongings are searched for "hidden pills". Of course there are NONE. I am angry at them and their controlling nature. I am 30, in abject pain physically and I know that life isnt going to get better for me. I am contemplating suicide as the only way to escape my physical pain and the control being placed on my life. Why do people meddle so?

For a while my ex had custody of our kids and was on government assistance for a couple years.
Now I have full custody of the kids not her and I am having my paychecks garnished to pay the state back for the time she was on welfare. Why?
She has a job making pretty ok money for where we live, shouldn't she be paying her own welfare back?
I tried explaining to the idiot I spoke to on the phone that by taking my checks to pay for her welfare that its taking from my kids who the welfare was meant to help.
She said the state requires the father of the kids to repay it,not the mother. (State:Missouri)
So am I seeing this wrong or does it really not make sense???
