Only if you have an attitude to work. If you have, you can turn your passion into your work. Even scavengers should have some kind of passion for their work, other wise think of your city.
Its all attitude.

As someone said before it depends on your passion. If its something like jewellery ( my trade) then many people do, if it's something like bullfighting and you are in the uk or us then it's harder but not impossible.
There is an alternative that is to turn your work into your passion.

Seriously, if you have a heart felt passion for subject or cause, get on with it.

If you can also get paid for it, great.
Sometimes a cause will not pay, other than the satisfaction of achieving a positive change.

depends on your passion
mine is being creative and designing painting ect..
some form of the arts!
so i'm a sales assistant at a radio station! who designs web elements and packages! it's fun!

one of my dreams is to setup a computer game development company.

on paper it all looks good its just finding the balls to do it
