The Shi'ite / Sunni / Kurd population ratio is about 4 / 1 / 1. And the Democrats are waiting for "reconciliation" instead of pushing for complete partition into three totally separate countries. Is this a great country or what?

Biden wants a "weak" federal government that will "only" control the army(!) and distribute oil revenue(!). Get the facts straight.

Will the Sunnis support a Shi'ite army? Will the Kurds or Shi'ites give oil revenue to Sunnis who have been stealing their oil for three generations and murdering them with poison gas?
Biden is dreaming.

What Bush wants is irrelevant. What happened to self-determination. Why can't the lamb decide for itself what to have for supper?

If Lincoln had survived, he would have made Mississippi and Alabama exclusively black and thereby avoided a century of failed Reconstruction, KKK lynchings, segregation, and discrimination. Do you guys get a perverse pleasure out of watching minorities suffer under a prejudiced majority? What is it about self rule that drives you bonkers?

JR: The question is very simple: isn't there some better way than four wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat? Why can't you answer a simple question?

Apples and oranges.
The US population is heterogeneous. There is no large area that is all black, Indian, female, obese, Asian, etc. Iraq has three homogeneous regions. Only Baghdad is mixed to the extent that a few remaining Sunnis are living in economically unsustainable walled ghettos built and protected by our troops. The solution is at hand if you apply yourself to the problem.

The things that you have claimed about Iraq, could have applied to the situation in the U.S. not too many years ago.
You seem to believe that all segments of a democratic society must be equal in terms of political and economic power, and according to your reasoning white people, black people, Hispanics, and Asian Americans should ask for their own piece of the U.S.
What about women.---Should they also get a hunk of the country to call their own? It certainly isn't fair to expect them to live in a society dominated by very powerful males.
What's the ratio between tall people and short people?
Do we need to separate them for the common good?
Do you get a perverse pleasure from asking " What is it about self rule that drives you bonkers?"?
Now that Americans have become obese, shouldn't skinny people start erecting boarders to keep the tubby guys out?

No. That's exactly why Iraq like every other civilized country has a Constitution or something like it to guide their laws. The US is not a democracy( It's a Constitutional Republic) and neither is Iraq.

Separation based on religion, race and/or political ideology is something that Lincoln fought against and I am very glad he did.

I know there are a lot of people who believe in separation.

There are those of us who, like President Bush and President Lincoln, believe that people can work together, overcome their differences to achieve common goals that will make the world a better place.

Joe Biden ( A DEMOCRAT) is the only one who has been calling for the partition of Iraq. You are so misinformed that:

You are ignorant,
You are intentionally attempting to pass on misinformation.

Bush absolutely refuses to accept any partitioning of Iraq.
Do some research.

So now you're arguing against your own proposal. Brilliant!!
Still misinformation. Give it up. I wasn't born yesterday.

BUSH WILL NOT ALLOW A PARTITION OF IRAQ. (period)

Blaming the Democrats, for not supporting the partition of Iraq, is nothing, but an attempt to pass on misinformation.

Now you can keep arguing with me, but I'm not coming back to this BS question.

Biden's plan is more of a partition than Bush, and the Republicans, will allow. Stop the misinformation.
