I'm really thrown about this episode. I have never seen it before and either has my mom but Nick is talking like Lily and Daniel are still married and they arn't so it must be a repeat. Whats going on? I can't believe I missed a episode. I thought maybe Nick was being reminded of the last two years of his life that he forgot.

Yes. It was. It was the episode where Nick was visited by Cassie and he said he would have done things differently if Cassie never would have gotten into that car that night.

We worked a half a day today and I was excited to come home to watch Y&R. I was so upset to see that it was a rerun!

This is a classic episode where Nick is visited by his late daughter Cassie, the flashback to before she was killed about whether or not they should let her go, and the marital discord that Nick and Sharon went through afterwards.

I should know because I saw Eileen Davidson and Victoria Rowell's names in the opening credits, and Eric Braeden and Melody Thomas Scott were posed differently in the opening theme.

I'm not sure as I haven't watched it in years, but I just read somebody else's question regarding it being a repeat as well.

Most likely, they finally ran out of scripts for new episodes due to the writers strike. I had originally read that Y&R had enough scripts to get them through January, but maybe I misread and it meant they would only get to the begining of January. Regardless, below is a link about it.
