For any of you who have seen this news from California, doesnt it seem a bit suspicious that Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata, whom has been pushing for gun control, got Carjacked in Oakland. He was stopped at an intersection in the middle of the afternoon, allegedly waiting for a red light.
A man tapped on the window with a gun, and he got out and let him take the Car. So two days later when the police recover the car, it hasn't been stripped. The 22" rims are still attached, Car is intact, and all his belongings...including the cell phone, are all still inside.

Legitimate carjacking? Or Media Publicity stunt to legitimize gun control?

Not sure. But it is curious that he had 22 inch wheels on his car. Sounds like he was driving a pimp mobile. Be sure to vote NO on prop 93. We can't afford to have Perata and Nunez in office beyond their term limits.

Title: KEEPING IT REAL LIKE THAT :)

Well Oakland can't be gun controlled?
Every other home is practically armed, if not they have a pittbull or Rottweiler's.
If you are a criminal, you have at least 10 guns.
and if you are a home owner, you'd better have just as
many.

No I don't think he faked it. You have to live there to know what's going on. It's Christmas/Holidays and people need funds to play with.
(not that they need a special occasion)
But I do think because he had government license plates, is the reason why they dumped it!
That's a federal thief and they wised up and dumped it.
Didn't you see The Dave Chapelle Show? Keeping it real?'

NO he was just another easy older white guy spotted at the gas station, in the area where hungry thugs, saw a easy mark.
