Chris Collingsworth is a former player along with Faulk and Sanders.

The ones who ask questions, like Rich Eisen or Mary Strong, usually did not. They are trained as journalists. They sit on the left on the various shows like Total Access.
The ones who answer questions like Rod Woodson or Terrell Davis did.
