Do I need to buy some sort of DVI connector to connect the monitor to my MacBook?

It says PC and Mac compatible on the specs

and people who discriminate? who do you discriminate against? people of different races, Mexicans, African Americans, Caucasians, people of different religion or lack of, Jewish people, Muslims, Christians, atheists, theists, etc? if you do discriminate, you probably wont admit it, but ' a rose by any other name..'. if you have no answer to this question other than ' every human discriminates' or statistics, please do not answer. i am asking people WHO they discriminate against, not WHY.

Not to long ago... i was helping my mom get the groceries out of the car and i saw a box of condoms! i just went along while my mind was racing, and acted like i didnt see anything. then i was putting them on the counter when my mom's bf walks in and takes the bag with the box in it and takes it into the bed room. he then comes back a few seconds later and i asked him what he was doing. he played stupid ofcourse. i let it go. then the next morning i found a condom wrapper on the couch. so i went in my moms room where she was and confronted her. shes like 'do you know what that is?' and i started crying because just the thought of my mom...ugh..the worst part is, it was oviously with her boyfriend-(mom and dad split up 2 yrs ago) and he JUST moved in. then we both calmed down and i helped her put her bed sheets on and i glanced over, and in the nightstand drawer, and a rainbow of condoms. so im basicaly scarred. Please, PLEASE dont make fun of me. help or dont help.. thanks everyone

In no way do I denounce the contributions of soldiers to this great nation. I support them. I don't thank God for IED's. However, considering we don't draft anyone, I find myself annoyed when I hear higher-ups in the military jowling about how much greater and tougher they are than me because they fight for our freedom. Most Americans put equally great contributions into this country! We all pay taxes on our checks! Hell, we bought the weapons they're using! I understand their job is tough, but damnit, it's their job. I understand veterans of wars past carrying this status, because they were forced to fight.

Ok Folks, a little background. I am a semi professional hypnotist and at times I get called on to do some hypnosis for parties and just for fun. Anyway...the other day I was giving a Christmas party for some coworkers at my school (about 20 in all) and I was asked to do a little hypnotism for them.I asked for volunteers and I hypnotized about 5 of them and had them do some really cool stuff (freezing hands, feeling hot, forgetting thier name) and one of the folks I hpnotized was this girl who I work with that I have had a crush on for awhile. We are just friends but she went under really deeply and was a great subject. One of the routines I did was I had her (and others on stage) have an orgasm from a handshake. She was one of the best. After the show she was really out of it and didn't remember anything but was upset when the orgasm was mentioned. I feel really badly. The question is, should I feel guilty and what should I do?

Should I tell my parents that I am a Satanist?

They are not religious, but they do tend to believe propaganda and I'm pretty much scorned whenever I act differently than the rest of the population. Still, I've always been open and honest, and this is something that's big in my life. Should I let my parents know, and try to explain to them what Satanism /really/ is?

Oh, and Christians...forget the 'I hope you find Jesus' and 'God blesses', alright? :)

Its December 26 and I am almsot 100% sure that I had a gallbladder attach a few days ago. I went to my doctor and hopefully I'll get in to a ultrasound to find out for sure in the next two weeks. Its been 5 days since the attach and my upper stomach/shoulder is soooooo sore. I'm trying to eat better but I wasn't a healthy eater before so find it hard now. My question is that in the second week of Feb ((two months from now)) I was heading on a 6 week dive holiday. If it is gallstones then will i be able to have the surgery before then and heal and be fine. Also where do they cut you...will I be bikini ready?? Also if the surgery is usually scheduled months in advance then will I be ok in another country and to go scuba diving??? Please help.

This guy I've been hanging out for a couple of months has a pic of his ex on his phone. I did not find it accidentally but he showed it to me. I did not show him that it bothered me but played it off like it was cool. They have a kid together and they were together for 6 years. He says he really likes me and is willing to wait till I'm ready to be in a relationship with him coz he thinks I'm worth it. I have been spending alot of time with this guy not only on regular days but also his bday and xmas and I'm afraid that one day he might realize that he's not over her, but he told me he will never come back to her and his ex knows that I'm talking to him. He respects me alot. Is this a red flag for me that he's not totally over her?

OK, here's one for all of you who believe in UFO's, Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster, etc.

Since the year 2000, over 800,000,000 (that's eight-hundred-million!) digital cameras and camera phones have been sold.

As I see it, that means that in virtually every place in the country, at every minute of the day and night, there is someone with a camera...so where are all the photos of UFO's? Back in the 1950's and 1960's, when no one walked around with a camera, there were plenty of "UFO's" captured on film.

And since the UFO's people see at night are always lighted I have to wonder; why would an alien culture so advanced they have been able to develop interstellar spacecraft allow them to be flown by pilots who are so stupid they always forget to turn off their lights when visiting earth. Come to think of it, wouldn't you think aliens that advanced wouldn't need to put lights on their spacecraft since the only purpose of lights is make sure other flying things don't bump into you?

I am a single, straight, successful, educated, 28 year old male. I have no interest in getting a girlfriend, much less getting married and having children this early in life. I just can't believe how many of my unmarried friends are panicking because they are almost 30 (like that is old) and are not in any kind of a relationship yet. I have only gone on two dates in my entire life and they all took place 5 years ago. Believe me, there are much more important things to do right now! My friends mock the fact that I haven't even had my first kiss yet or even my first passionate hug! I think it's funny and provides something to look forward to! People my age are also in a rush to move out and waste their money on rent when they already live close to work, have no kids or wife. Is my generation simply bonkers or what?

Alright. I am sixteen and I have a boyfriend who is seventeen. We have almost been going out for a year now.
We are completely in love and I know we are, we love each other with all our hearts. Please don't say anything about you don't know what love is or any of that BS. I know what love is..

So we recently have started taking about sex. I never planned on having sex until i was engaged or completely in love with someone and i knew it. I guess I'm just old school like that. I never would have thought I would find my true love this early in life, but I guess how it was supposed to be.
I want to get on birth control and my boyfriend wants me to get on it too. We want to be completely safe. We will use condoms too. I just want to know, how i can bring up ME getting on birth control to my mother.

my question: Is there any easy conversation starters on this? I don't want to feel awkward, even though I already feel a little nervous on how she will react. Advice on how to approach this?
