It has its ups and downs. But this is my reasoning. Yes it would be nice to have someone committed to you but, I am young and in college right now my life needs to be about me and trying to figure out what I want out of my life. Which I think can be done easier single. I like my independence and being able to go out with my friends or on dates as I choose to. People live long lives and right now I need to enjoy what I want before I do find the right person and settle down. But everyone is different.

I love it. You feel a lot more free, and a lot more confident. The bad side is that your exes are crazy for you, you get a boy asking you out every 2 days, and to make it even more complicated you have a crush, who is your ex, who is asking you out, but you already made a promise to a family member that you would not have a boyfriend for the rest of the year!!!!!!!

Woo had to let that one out! Anyways, another bad thing is that you don't get that feeling that your being loved by someone who's not related to you, that tingly sensation you get in your heart when your talking to your love.

Sure, being single is fun, but with the confusing problem I'm in, I wish i weren't. ( and im not desperate! lol )

Its okay. I feel being single is kind of lonely so to speak that is. Having the thoughts that someone is there and cares for you would be comfort. I know people got their parents and their siblings but having that other special person would be nice.

I'm not young, but i'm single, and i like it very much.

It was ok having boyfriends, being married, but now i'm enjoying taking care of ME and am very content with my own company.

I'm really tired of the head games and of men who want "a mommy"... i already have two kids, why do i need another one?

I'll wash my own underwear.

Honestly, I'm a little bummed.
I see everyone walking around, holding hands, and looking totally in love.
I've never been in a relationship.
I just want to know what it feels like.
But I am young (14 actually) so I have plenty of time for dating.

As of the moment, I'm feeling pretty good about it! No one constantly calling and demanding to know where you are, no nagging about calling when I get home, no silly arguments...ahhh, life is good!
