Would you be so desperate for something that would lead you to do something stupid/may regret? What would you do?

with today's society and the divorce rate, i don't think people view marriage in the same way as they used to. people don't mean the vows they make and therefore they should be changed (i.e the death to us part bit). Personally i am quite cynical and i think marriage is just a piece of paper that people think signifies commitment but in reality if you're in a serious relationship you should be committed to that one person only, anyway (if thats what's agreed). However many women (and maybe men?) still dream of fairytale marriages and get all hung up on whether they are married by a certain age etc. How do people feel about this? Is marriage just about financial benefits?

I'm thinking of adding Ad Sense to my website (when its up and running). My question is, how much do i have to earn before i have to report my earnings to the IRS? My father in law tells me it's over $5,000, then my dad tells me its over $7,000. I'm confused. Can someone help?

I'm a chinese,and i'm eager to make friends with a language-exchange partner so that we could help each other with our respective language problems with speaking through internet,off which there's hardly any foriegner in our city.

Can someone PLEASE me some advice on how to tell my boyfriend that I lied about my age.....

He's 24..going on 25 in May...
I'm 18..going on 19 in September.....

I told him that I was 20........

The only reason why I lied was because I didn't think he would talk to an 18 year old..and him being 24...already out of highschool,college...and with a career....
while myself....I just started college for Aeronautical Engineering...I know that's good but I didnt think he'd want someone this much younger than him

I know it was Very dumb...and pointless of me to do....

But now I need advice on HOW TO BRING IT TO HIM..HOW DO I EXPLAIN...I know JUST TELL THE TRUTH..BUT HOW...

He's the PERFECT MAN.....and I really dont want to do and I REALLY dont want to lose him.....I know he's gonna be hurt and very upset when I do tell him...But what do I say afterwards..What if me just wants to leave and go somewhere ...Do I stop him...
Please Help.....

I had my gallbladder out in July. The pain I am feeling is in the same area just on my LEFT side instead of my right. The pain isnt AS bad as an gallbladder attack.

Its more like a stabbing pain that happens at the sametime in my left shoulder. It hurts fpr about 30-40 seconds at a time. Then goes away for a while. No matter how I sit, stand, lay etc.

I am going to the doctor tomorrow. Well atleast calling.

And we also believe I am 4-6 weeks pregnant (Took a test..well 2 of them here at home, and its postive). I just had a c-section in April, and Gallbladder removed in July.

We don't want them to come along as they have small children who are very annoying. My mum thinks we should stay home but i think that is unfair as they didn't even ask if we would be home. I think we should tell them that we won't be home and leave it at that. What do you think is the right thing to do?
