I looked at A T&T website, they have a extra service called Early Nights and Weekends for a extra $8.99 per month in addition to your regular monthly cell phone rate which lets you talk unlimited starting from 7 pm and ending at 7 am. All calls during this time period does not cost you or use your minutes.

Make sure you have this extra service called Early nights and weekends on your cell phone plan for this to take effect.

Do you have free nights and weekends? Assuming that you do, as long as you start your call before the deadline (7:00) you should be able to make this call for free, no matter how long you stay on for. Be warned though, they're pretty strict with their deadlines. One time I started a call at 8:59 and my free calling started at nine. I talked for four hours, assuming it was free, but because I STARTED the call before my free time started I had to pay for the whole time limit.

Hope this helps!
