Destiny is carved out right from the birth.
However you have a domain to make a choice.
Chance can be taken as the opportunity to make turns of events.
You can expand upon these facts.

Destiny is what is known and forewritten. You have a choice to follow it or there may be the chance that you will have to act upon it despite your choice.
Yes, life is a game of chance, but it is also a system of balances. For every action of a person there is an equal or opposite reaction. Someone walks in a door another walks out. You can choose, but sometimes you have to choose what you did not want, and its true you may not know what may or may not happen, but it is important to just try to enjoy the journey.

"destiny is a matter of choice and not by chance"

I agree
how do u really know what you destiny is?
i believe that one chooses what they want it life and are
chance is basically luck and if u rely on luck there is a chance that you will not get what you want. i believe in making you own luck which is Choice and follow them until u reached your Destiny a goal that you choose. luck does play a big part

i define destiny as -- a place where we wanna be something we want a fate that we want should decide
you will be far better making a choice of where u wanna go other then relying on chance.

I think destiny is indeed a matter of choice, but we must not forget that choices are being made by many known and unknown people around, which do impact us... it is not just one's own choices alone that impact the outcome one is looking for, since we are an integral part of the society.... I therefore believe that destiny is not entirely in our own hands.... that does not mean it is luck or chance... it is in fact the complex result of numerous actions of different people, some known to us and most unknown... in the ultimate analysis, chance or luck or miracle is not compatible with the inviolable principle of 'cause and effect' that systematically governs every little event in this Universe.

i think destiny is the choices given to us by chance and the chance to make choices. Things don't just happen on it owns without a helping hand and things can't be done without a stroke of certain circumstances. Hope this helps.

If you ask me, destiny is a matter of choice.

You see, you are, by all means, an intelligent and purposeful being. You make your own decisions. Even if you just leave it all to "chance" or "accident", you still have, unwittingly, made a decision (you have decided to leave everything to chance).

And decisions come from choices.

Destiny, I hope, may prove fairer, in that I took the chance of choice.

It's both, you have to be in a position of taking a chance .
By taking a chance on something, you've made a choice.
