In the Book of Mormon, God forbids practicing polygamy. However, some prophets of the latter-days did. The Church officially says it was according to the command of God. However, it's confusing when God banned certain practice in his book but allowed to the people later.
Do you believe that practice of polygamy was true command of God, or mistakes of prophets, who were still human beings even though they were guided by God?

P.S: Anti-Mormons, no black-jokes are welcome. Please, don't.

What is the science and/or psychology behind how attractive someone has to be for us to be attracted to them?

I know some people who are attracted only to the most gorgeous, and others who are attracted to anyone who's at least average. Some that are simply not attracted to anything less than a 10, and some who are ok with 6 and up. What is the science and psychology behind this? I'm curious. Thanks!

Counting til next Christmas

It's been two christmases
you never failed to bring
tears not of joy nor peace
but of misery and gloom
shrouded by darkness
forever loomed

i scream for the old times
not too long ago..
before two christmases that was
but no longer...no more..
bitter whiperings on christmas eves
and spiritless prayers for ease

If i count the days for the third of this
Might i find a reason to wait atleast?

I'm not at "wife level"...?

I live with my boyfriend.... we are not engaged. He's said if I want a diamond I'm gonna have to buy it myself. So I told him me living there as a room- mate is fine with me.

His kids come over every weekend. Lately he's been getting mad when I leave on Sundays to go visit my family.
He says there's alot of work to be done around the house.. mostly laundry, cooking and entertaining while the kids are there.... and he needs help.

I work six days a week teaching and I like to get away from kids on my only day off during the week... besides, we agreed to a "room - mate level" relationship.

Why is he angry about this?

Joke ~~~ What should I wear?

A farmer hires a uni student one summer to help around the farm.
At the end of the summer the farmer says, "Son, since you have done such a fine job here this summer, I am going to throw a party for you."
The uni student says, "Great!"
So the farmer says, "Well you better be able to handle a few beers because there will be lots of drinking."
The student says, "I can drink just as much as anyone else."
And the farmer adds, "There is also going to be a lot of fightin' so I hope you are ready."
So the student responds, "I have been working hard all summer and I think I'm in pretty good shape."
"One more thing," says the farmer, "Did I mention that there will be lots of s*x?"
"You beauty!" shouts the student. "I have been out here all summer and I have been dying for some action. What should I wear to this party?"
