I know some people who are attracted only to the most gorgeous, and others who are attracted to anyone who's at least average. Some that are simply not attracted to anything less than a 10, and some who are ok with 6 and up. What is the science and psychology behind this? I'm curious. Thanks!

people are often attracted to people similar to them. as in same size or smaller, symmetrical facial features, certain hair length, etc. people are often attracted to people they can confide in. its crazy you know. i am often attracted to the deep, poet, intellectual guys, artistic guys. it really depends on the person. a lot of people are brainwashed by the eurocentric beauty standard, of light skin, light hair, and light eyes. especially throughout the world. hope that helps.

Science says that we are attracted to the same level of attractiveness that we think we are. I know-I don't believe it, but that's what they say.

I believe to be attracted to someone, it helps if their personality is appealing, aka, nice, i.e: kids falling in love with their teachers, just cause they're nice, and also, there are different specifications inhereted within dif. cultures, i.e: puerto ricans like big butts tan, and americans like sum white crakers with pimples no ***, no boobs, and all preppy, like hi, ahahahaha wuts ur name? ahahahaha my names brittney, ahahaha, lol, they sound like a seal, T_T but anyways, yeah it REALLY depends
