Yes .. and unfortunately for me it hasn't worked out that well in the past. However, I realize now that I learned something from those each of those instances and it has made me a better person and a person more capable of being in a healthy and loving relationship. "Not" is a tough word because you can't help who your heart wants to fall in love with. Maybe one day that "not" will turn into a "forever" by some strange twist of fate.
That's what makes this crazy life so scary and so worth living. You've gotta take chances or things are way too boring and predictable. Perhaps we should skip focusing on the "not" and just enjoy the feelings our heart tells us to feel. Even if it doesn't work out love is never wasted ... even if brief and ill timed!
Peace and love to you ...

Yes when I was 19. He was18. I never told him though I know he loved me too. We were too different to make a relationship last a lifetime but I felt like I was home when we were together. A true friend. Memories tend to fade but the ones I have of him are still as vivid as yesterday. He died when I was 22. I miss him still but i know that we would have made a terrible couple. His picture is on my screensaver at work its been almost 16 years. :(

That's a definite yes. I swear we all pick one at one time or another. I somehow always go for the bad boy. At least my bad boy now is a good man.

oak posted "Yea i'm muslim and i fell in love with a christian girl"
if you loved em thats all that counted.. I've been out with women from various religions and background..
did it bother me ? NOPE.. coz it was about how I felt about them.
last girlfriend was a buddist (which I'm not) , but I've dated women who are from various religions.
only one hated the fact it conflicted with her religion.
