What kinds of opportunies are there once you complete your two years with the Peace Corps. I have been thinking about joining the Peace Corps for the past three eyars and only now am I seriously considering it.

After 8 years of unprecedented economic growth under Clinton, Bush caused a mild recession (started in March of 2001) by bad mouthing the economy during the campaign. Yet he inherited what was basically a solid economic situation. Yet he had zero job growth during his first 4 years. And although unemployment is currently pretty low, around 4.5% he has never achieved the 3.9% achieved under Clinton.

I had sex on December 1st, the maybe a week later I had clear slimey discharge. I then had sex a few days later. So it's been like three weeks since all of this. Today I noticed only when I wiped that I had brownish to very light pinkish discharge. I did take a pregnancy test a week ago, but it came out negative. But now I'm starting to wonder. Do you think it's possible that I am pregnant, or could this just be a light period? And when is the best time to take another pregnancy test. Thanks everyone for any kind of help on this matter.

Whenever I am walking with friends through a parking lot or across the street, they always get excited and warn me about passing cars. I am sick of it! I ask them why. Does it look like I don't know they are there? Am I walking into them? They say no and that they are just being caring. It stifles me. I can see and hear the cars. I tell them to worry about themselves. I am a grown woman and I will be fine. How can I get them to relax and be quiet?

Fell in love with this one guy in 7th grade. Broke up with me bc he thought he didnt like me anymore. Dated other guys that lasted only 1 month. They all left me. Then dated two guys that lasted for four months and then I didnt want them anymore but couldn't let go, now this is the third guy, same situation. Somethings wrong with me. It is more than not wanting to let go because right now with the third guy, I was calling him and he wouldnt pick up and I broke down because I felt scared he just left me hanging [traumatized from the past]. And I get kindaa angry if I call him and he's with his friends and I was expecting him to come over. You see? Its just strange. I dont get whats up with me, really I dont. :( Now Im in 11th grade.

It is said that in one of the scenes in the Wizard of oz there is a munchkin hanging himself.... or herself..... and there is even a theory that its a guy from the stage crew. some people say its a big bird that is just in the background. i have seen it, and i am not sure what to believe. i looked it up and the wizard of oz people say it is a bird... but they could be covering it up??? i was just wondering what you guys thought.

My knee gave out a work today and it was extremely painful, it's happened before but not this bad, the swelling hasnt gone down at all and it's been 8 hours and I still cant straighten my leg, could I have torn a ligament?

I was just wondering how a white/asian guy would think of me. I'm a mixed girl. I'm a little light skinned, thicky thick girl. a lot of guys say they think i'm beatiful. they're all latinos and black. i don't know if they compliment the way i look just to get in my pants or if they really think i'm a pretty girl. i hope it's the truth. but anyway, i was thinking i would like to date a white guy. maybe even an asian. but i don't think that would ever happen. i work with a bunch of white guys and asian guys. they all seem to be into the blondes with blue eyes and who are a size zero.

if a team kicks the ball 40 yards they can touch it and down it. But on an onside kick they can kick more than 10 yards and revcover it. Neither depend on the receiving team to touch the ball.

I have a 12 year old daughter. I don't hit my kids or mistreat them in any way. I probably and too nice to them. Every now and then she becomes a little rebellious and disobeys me. I asked her to pick up a few items she left out before going o bed. She refused and would not do it. I asked her again more sternly and then gave her a final warning. Still she refused. So I intentially raised my voice in a loud fashion changed my epression and demanded that she do it (I think my "yelling" would have waked the dead). She got up and put it away. I then let her calm down a bit and sent her and her brother to bed. I heard her sniffling in her room. I was so tempted to go in and console her, but I felt doing so would negate my authority in her eyes and lose credibility.

She is a good kid. I just feel bad I have to do this. But it was the right thing to do right?

I know that what this really is, is the beginning of her need for independence as a teenager, but it so tough.
