'Lydia and Sylvia Granger had lived together for the last 45 years, in the house that their father had willed to them upon his passing 45 years ago. Today was Sylvia’s 80th birthday; tomorrow would be Lydia's. They had been born exactly 2 minutes apart: Sylvia at 11:59 PM, and Lydia at 12:01 AM. Lydia had always resented Sylvia’s being the older sister, as she had always lorded it over her when it came time to make decisions regarding the management of their lives together in that old house.'

1st time I had friendship w/a professor gone desperate. I was as fault, but my mom still called him the devil. Then I had a boyfriend, he only stayed sober while we were dating, mom didn't like him but afterwards says that she really did like him. Now I like this man that has all the right stuff and she doesn't what to hear it. I don't have my mom's support for this area of my life. Can anyone offer objective advice?

I worked in a call center for MCI trying to sell their long distance service to users of other companies and I hated it, so stressfull. Is real estate similiar to that or is it easier becuase you just put for sale signs out there and have people call you?

Ok I will make this as brief as possible. i am the step dad in our situation and have no kids of my own. My fiance and I have been together for a year and a half and she has three children 7,5,and 1. In the year and a half that we have been together I have been the childrens dad and that is what they call me. Their Father/sperm donor has had contact with them a total of maybe eight times never for more than an overnight. They have been acting worse for some reason these last few weeks and for some reason it has continued to go downhill. Their father told them that if they continued to act this way that santa would skip them and they would have no christmas at all this year. (spare me your beliefs on santa I am an adult they are children) Both me and their mother have been telling them the same thing but i thought it really was more of a motivation thing. I still went out and spent a few hundred on gifts and now their father says skip it and their mother says its up to me.

do gay people get to put a token gay person in every new movie that comes out? Why is this agenda being shoved down our throat? Please answer the question without calling me a bigot and a racist, thank you. It is a valid question. I have noticed every single new release I rent there is a gay couple in it every time. wouldn't gay people scream if they found an article in their gay magazine suggesting that maybe they are in sin? Isn't agenda agenda?
