I'm not sure love needs to last forever.
I'm not even sure that's a good idea.

First of all, always be yourself.
If the person you're with can't accept even the tiniest thing about you, then that person doesn't deserve to be with you. {unless of course its something you do to harm yourself}
Secondly, Patience, understanding, encouragement, trust & communication are the most important in a relationship.
You both need to work and sacrifice important things to be with each other and to always make it work...

There's a lot to love, and a lot to keeping love alive. People think it's really hard... but the truth is that; it's not hard to keep your love alive and going if it's real. There's just a lot too it, a lot of simple things that can get complicated if you let them.

Oh and the people who say nothing lasts forever are morons.
Things can last forever, but forever just isn't long enough.

There's very few "formulas" to make love forever.

===
Everybody wants to find Mister / Miss right. But not many people are trying to become the Mister / Miss right.

Everybody wants be loved unconditionally. But not many people are trying to be a lovable person.

Everybody thinks that love is forever. But in reality, love doesn't JUST happen. It is hard work and product of many years of giving by both sides (not taking).

No matter how much you love somebody, if that person is not the kind of person who negotiates and make compromises together, then eventually you will get tired of doing all the giving.

Choose carefully. Once you choose your mate, there's NOTHING you can do to change that person (for the better or worse). You can only accept that person as they are.

You can only change yourself.

==== ONE LAST THING ====

In any relationship you have to give 90% before the other person START to see you give your 50% into the relationship. What that means is that you both have to give close to 200% (combined) to have a 50/50 relationship.

When you think that you are giving 90% to him/her, it seems all unfair and you'll give up. But instead think of it as you giving your 100% to this tree you are raising togather called "The RELATIONSHIP" and the fruits of this tree only comes years later.

Good luck

Only by knowing he or she is the person you want to be with, forever.
You or he/she will make it last forever, it'll last forever all by itself.

Take heart in my statistics class we found that approximately 80 percent of the time it does. All of the talk about fifty percent of marriages end in divorce is just not true. To get that number they take the number of marriages in a year and compare them to the number of divorces. That does not take into account that there are 5 times as many people that are married to get divorced as there are single people to get married.

So most likely when all of you find love it will last till death do you part.

Love doesn't last forever it dies after 5 years of marriage...then you realize all women eventually turn into nagging bitches...that's when you get divorced and never marry again.

Love is a framework built from mutual contribution. If you're the only one that is contributing, or your partner is the only one contributing, the liklihood of it lasting at all is slim.
Find someone that is willing to contribute to the relationship as much as you are, and you will have a better chance of finding forever.
