My laptop often overheats and I wanted to increase the fan speed. The automatic controller is apparantly not working well since the computer will often "trip" and turn off due to excessive temperatures. Thanks!

i grew up in samar with no farm to market roads unlike other philippine islands that has circumferential roads to distribute and get basic commodities and necessities...because they lack hospitals and good physicians, some people there remain maleducated still rely on quack doctors, magic and sorceries (even some teachers there still believe and discuss about aswangs and tikbalangs!!) ...from the eighties npa's abound there until now resulting to mass exodus to urban areas...i love and care for my place and the people...in my own expense i help get some kids better education but in the future they may be employed in some other place or country than in my beloved samar....

I've had my period for three years now. I used to get it on the 20, then at the begining of the month, and now around the 10. My last period ended 10 days ago, and now I'm having another light one. It's the first time I've gotten two. I hear alot of people have it, so I'm not broken am I?

Should we realize the truth that this man is a tax raising, illegal immigrant loving murder/rapist pardoning individual who obviously puts his personal beliefs in front of policy

I like the fair tax too, but not enough to want to vote for Huckabee, I feel he plays the God card too much and social conservatives will try and take a coup of the Republican party. The party also belongs to the fiscally responsible/libertarian side, don't let Huckabee get the nomination, the dems think he will be easy to beat!!

he was my best friend of three years.
i broke his heart.
he broke mine.
we grew apart so fast.
so it's been months since we've personally talked after being nearly inseperable for so long. i never knew how much i relied on him, how much i actually need him.
for the past three months he has been in the back of my mind every minute of every day. it's been complete hell. i ache in places i had no idea i had.
i feel pathetic because it seems like he is doing fine. he has a girl friend now, and i want to let him go, but at the same time i'm scared.
i told him i was in love with him a month or two ago, he said he didn't feel the same. but then he told my friend that the after math of saying that was horrible (whatever that means.)
but there's this nagging feeling inside me that this isn't the end.
i have no idea what to do. i really just want it all to end.
he loved me so much, how can that just end?

I'm 16 and I found out today that my mom has told a lot of people about all of the "trouble" I'm causing her! But I''m not really doing anything wrong. She told them that me and boyfriend were having sex, which we are, but that isn't anyone's business since it's my relationship and not there's. We were at a Christmas party today and a lot of her friends ganged up on me telling me I should stop having sex or I'll end up pregnant. And some of them are telling me that my mom doesn't want to be a grandmother so I should stop seeing my boyfriend for her sake! They have some nerve saying that to me! And I can't believe she would even tell her stupid friends that. The only reason I told her is because when she asked I looked guilty and that told her everything. It seems like she would take me to get birth control now instead of having her friends gang up on me. What is her problem anyway?

I'm not an idiot, i know shes 16 and pregnant outside of wedlock, but everywhere i look there are mothers calling her a slut and people saying shes going to end up like her sister. at least shes not partying all night, smoking pot, drinking beer, and swallowing crank. it seems everyone is having sex before marriage, and she just happened to get pregnant. its a huge resposibility, yes, and she is too young, but at least shes not getting an abortion!! so really, why is everyone making such a big deal out of this?
