is it a new monster or godzilla ? what ya think?

...actually, this little lady, over at another Yahoo! Answers question, seems to be under the impression that rather Godzilla, this might just be the return of Gamera (...or so it seems)...

I'm voting for H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu as the greatest threat to be faced by the world! This would be a "homegrown" creature that has never been shown in movies as he should be.
I've heard the rumors about The Parasite, and one forum posted a link to artwork. If I can find it again, I'll set it down here.

This was posted at a Cloverfield site, much debate was going on about its legitimacy. The louse creatures are supposed to latch onto human beings and transform them. Remember the screaming woman behind the curtain?
I'm sure that it isn't Godzilla or any other such character from those movies.

i dont think its godzilla because in the preview you could hear it roar and it doesnt roar like godzilla and i dont think they want to steal a monster from another country when we could easily make one better.

probably not godzilla. i'm not sure what it is though. maybe some sort of alien thingy.
