Come on now, innocent until proven guilty. I personally believe that Clemens used. That being said, my opinion means nothing until there is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that he took steroids. As far as Maddux being the "best" pitcher, that is up for debate.

Schilling really does need to quiet down. I understand he runs his rants and such to popularize himself, but come on now. This isn't the first time he has posted a stupid comment ( he retracted what he said about Bonds steroid use earlier this season).

Let the evidence fall where it may, and then go after these guys, until then, I believe that the records should stand until there is verifiable evidence to change my mind.

Clemens hasnt been cleared of taking steroids. All he did was say that he never did them. If every criminal that said he didnt commit a crime was let free, there would be nobody left in jail. Until there is evidence that is made public to prove one way or the other that Clemens was involved with performance enhancing drugs, then Schilling doesnt have to do anything. All Schillling did was say that "if" Clemens did do steroids, then he should not be given credit for his performance during the period of his doping, which is true, if he cheated, then his stats shouldnt count. Schilling should get to talk all he wants, he has been an allstar pitcher for his whole career, without ever being involved in any steroid controversy. He is a leader for the sport, and should be involved with the subject as he is one of the only people who is actually helping with the investigation, and not just trying to save his own ***, like every other player involved with the case.

Clemens hasn't been cleared. The trainer in the Mitchell report told the truth about Pettite (Pettite admitted it), why on earth would he lie about Clemens? It makes no sense whatsoever to make up a story about one player after you just told the truth about another. There's no incentive for him throwing Clemens under the bus, so in my eyes Clemens is guilty until he provides proof of innocence. Schilling's got a big mouth, but that doesn't mean he's wrong.

I feel hes correct to impeach a transfer, however he must do in the back of closed doorways. Airing soiled laundry under no circumstances is helping your crew. As a ways as having an opinion on the whole lot, I bet you would say he has changed Schilling at the Sox. However, he's a better distraction than Schilling ever used to be. Stuff like this will likely harm the Sox finally. He does have a gigantic mouth, and thats his correct, however like I stated earlier than, it's larger to hinder speaking approximately the interior workings of your crew to the media. Comments like those have the talents to harm the crew as a complete and there's no doubt Papelbon demands to be placed on a tighter leash by means of the Red Sox.

When was he cleared of taking steroids? I am glad Schilling is talking. Maybe BUD will smarten up and finally start to get Baseball back to before steroids and we can stop having to explain how drugs are bad to our kids. And explain how what the players our kids look up to are doing is wrong. Even though no one in baseball wanted to do anything about it. Thank god this report came out now if they could only do something about it. Oh but the dumb Players union will not let anything be done. But please do not get me started about how horrible UNIONS are and how there is no place for any union in the world any more.

Clemens has been cleared? ummm I want some of what you're smoking. There are only two ways for Clemens to be cleared;

- The trainer quoted in the Mitchell report admits he lied.

- Clemens files suit in court and is found innocent.

Let me tell you the one that WON'T happen. Clemens will not file a lawsuit, that would open all parties, including Clemens and all his current and former teammates and coaches and trainers to legally binding testimony in a court of law. It will never happen. Clemens is intent on being found innocent in the court of public relations, he will go on 60 minutes.. he will never go to court.

When was Clemens cleared? Because he denied it? Schilling may be tacky or aggressive or obnoxious, but he is within his rights. You don't have to like him. I don't think he blogs to be liked. He blogs to get it out of his system.

Schilling should never apogize for speaking his mind. In this country, even people such as yourself have the right to say what they want.
