Ever been there? I lived there for two years. I can only say that it's a love/hate relationship. I love the history and the people, but I hate the way they treat each other. To many, human life is not as precious as we see it. Unlike black people in America, the people of Africa do not view things nor sensationalize it in an 'ethnic' manner... except in civil war. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would not last a day in the villages I lived in.

Yeah I know it sucks. I mean when I go see a movie the last thing I want to see is a straight couple just sitting there and flaunting their heterosexuality in my face. It's gotten to the point where I just don't go see movies anymore unless I can be sure there is going to be no hetero romance, marriage, or subliminal messages like the straight lifestyle is okay.
You know, it's a good thing I happen to be straight because if I was gay (or heaven forbid a narrow minded Xian) I'd probably blow up the theatre and start a jihad against Hollywood.
By the way, nice post. You get a star. :)

I know...this straight person agenda is really rubbing me the wrong way...it has been going on for too many decades now...I can't watch Casablanca without barfing. I mean, just look at A Streetcar Named Desire...heterosexual in so many disgusting ways, yet it was written by a gay man! Hollywood has corrupted many a man to the straight side...

Do you know how much chaos that would make? OMG, besdies there is a whole bunch more things that can be changed and added to the movies. Did you notice that mainly all commercials are singled on one race? Did you happen to notice how mainly all children's T.V show's are singled around one race? Disney Channel for instance. Watch it and see. "Dora", "Diego", and "That's so Raven". Is that all? I want to see some new teen sensations. I want them now.

Stereotyping and political correctness. Next they'll be allowing animals in movies. Sickening. And those dang cartoony things...

That is one opinion.
Personally, I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. That is how God created us. I know people think otherwise.. including yourself. I'm just saying though, I am offended when I see a movie featuring gay people because of my personal beliefs.
From one extreme to another...

Listen if we all were lovers of only the same sex we wouldn't be able to propagate the world. There is no such thing as a gay gender. "Gay" is a lifestyle. There is no such thing as a gay gene. There is a gender disconnect that happens before one is old enough to remember and that is why folks believe they were born that way. You really don't make much sense, though I know you seem to think you are all that. Grow up!

One inarguable difference, it at the least took a couple acting straight to produce you.
