Well depends if you are going to be taking this child around, to school or what not I would ask for a little more.
A fair price for a 4 hour shift is about $40 for a 16-18 year old babysitter. Sadly enough the price will vary on your own age. But if you know more about these people then start high and work lower.
Start at $60 and if you have to work your way down to $50.
Good Luck

ok you have to be realistic about this. the girl may be high maintenance but she is 9 and can do most things for herself. you dont need your eye on her every second of every hour and shes the only one. really $4 an hour is all that is required. also, the parents know you so they may be willing to go higher but that is for them to decide. high-income doesn't mean that people should be charged more for a typical service. good luck!

I would charge about 4-5 dollars an hour. 3 if the family isn't that rich. But of course i charge cheap prices, so you might wanna charge higher.

I usually charge $10 (Australian) and hour. If you live in a country with a different currency... I don't know, sorry. You should ask some friends and find out what the norm is in your country.

I would say for four hours, at least $30.00 ... If she's a lot of trouble, and the parents know it, perhaps 45.00 ........ Just reason with them, and talk it out. And get the going rate in your area.
