yes i do and guess what i have four sons that are. its very sad they are nothing like me. i ca't for the life of me figure where they got this i guess their dad did it to them he was forever thinking what costs and how much things are is best etc. sad though huh?

no but some of them have serious issues. Life isn't all about what you wear or what kind of car you drive. It is about being happy and getting through it. For the people who are materialistic, it may just help them get through life easier. As with me, all I need to do is have friends or family with me or no one at all, nothing material will make me feel better.

There is nobody I dislike more than uber-materialistic "role models" like Oprah and Fergie.

oh yes. i tend to be materialistic at times, myself, but i try to keep it as real as possible, ya know? i feel sorry for people who only rely on their looks and not of the content of their hearts...their souls.

I think that they will eventually learn that there are way more important things in life other than things. No I do not dislike them because they haven't learned "life" yet. But when they get to that situation, it's going to hit them hard. That's all.
