Senator Inhofe has a reputation as a mindless right wing idealogue. Even his Republican colleagues have been known to wince at his behavior. Famous Inhofe quotes:

After the Oklahoma City bombing, when asked how many workers were in the Murrah Building, “It depends on how many federal workers played hookey today.”

He claimed that the attack on the World Trade Center was caused by America's weak support of Israel:

One of the reasons I believe the spiritual door was opened for an attack against the United States was that the policy of our government has been to ask the Israelis, and demand it with pressure, not to retaliate against the terrorist strikes that have been launched against them.

In the past he's been considered unbeatable in heavily Republican Oklahoma, with his massive amounts of money from the fossil fuel industry.

Now there's a viable Democratic opponent, centrist and pragmatic.

How much horsepower do you think i'm pushing to the crank and to the wheels with this set up?

Why would a non Christians do that? Do they have to?

Are u a person of Islam or a Jew. Were you offered a bible to swear on without any question asked about whether you believe in it?

Are you a person who does not believe in anything? What do you choose to swear on?

Are there options in courts? How far do they go? Witchcraft? Satinism?

Are you a Christian who believes in God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit; but do not have confidence in the bible as His inspired Word? Why swear on a book you do not trust?

Would you just go ahead, and swear on the Book they put in front of you. even if you do not believe in it? Why or why not?

If you did swear on a bible you don't believe, did you feel like a liar doing it.

God commanded that we NOT give false witness, in the 10 commandments. If you don't believe in Him, why believe in truth telling?

Well I know for sure that I'm getting an Xbox 360 for christmas becuase i saw it in my moms closet.well i also saw that it was in an EB Games bag.Ive read a question about the 360 warrenty on answers and someone answered they come with a 3year warrenty but stores such as EB Gmaes try to rip you off and make you pay an extra 30 bucks for 1 year.Is this true?

Fact is that the Gregorian calendar is wrong, and we should be counting from 4 AD. Therefore we are in the year 2012, and oh lookie, it's the 21rst of December (aka D Day). Planets will be in formation people in exately eight hours from now. (incidentally, those of you who don't know already, the last time the planets were in this particular formation was 3114 BCE, the date of Noah's flood...). Eight hours before I ask, are the ancient Mayans right? Will something occur that will change life as we know it?

My husband and I need custody of his children. They are 8 and 10. They are bright, intelligent kids and we have the means to further their learning. We also have a more stable home environment than the mother. She is a diabetic that only stays in the bed when she's home. They have called us crying at 2:00 in the afternoon because they haven't had anything to eat, she starts fights with us in the children's presence and she lets them stay at a babysitter's house that has gone to prison for meth manufacturing. Several people have told us that her boyfriend (who is constantly around the kids) is a meth addict. As far as we know, she does not do any drugs, but it could be possible (birds of a feather flock together). We have not seen the kids in 2 1/2 months because she wants more child support. We are not behind on child support and we have hired a lawyer. She has been served with contempt papers and still won't let us see the children. Help!! Does it sound like we have a custody case?
