How much horsepower do you think i'm pushing to the crank and to the wheels with this set up?

289 bored .030 over
headers
holley 600cfm 4barrel
weiand intake
under drive pulleys
mild cam
electronic ignition with 8mm wires
flowmaster 40s

assume everything else is stock..how much hp?

also, what if i got a little head work done, just milled a little or exhaust port matched...how much would that add?

thanks for the help!

Boring doesn't help hp
What lift and duration?
Tri-ys or 4 into 1 headers?
Which Weiand intake?
Production Ford heads are BOAT ANCHORS, you're only polishing a turd trying to work them!

However, the 289 2 barrel was 210hp, the 4 barrel was 225hp, and the covetted K-code was 271hp. You can safely dump 20% of the hp when going from the crank to the tires.

To start with in 1966 a stock two barrel carbed 289 made 165 hp in four barrel form 176 hp. The answer above is correct on the fact that boreing does not increase horsepower however it does increase torque, and that my friend is what wins a race but back to the question at hand, one of the best moves you could make is to upgrade to a good quality aftermarket intake and a dual plane weiand Stealth is an excellent choice but I would becareful on the carb size it is true that many small block fords respond well to 600 to 650 cfm carbs if you are builing torque I would definatly keep it at or below 600 on a 289,also freeing up the restrictive exhaust is a must when you say a mild cam check out the Lunati VooDoo cams they work great with the Stealth intakes, and if you are planning to turn a lot of rpm's you will be needing that electronic ignition.
So starting with 176 hp carb and intake should take you to 185 to 190,headers and an H pipe, maybe 210 hp, the VooDoo bumpstick, maybe 215-220,and an ignition upgrade puts you to maybe 225 hp but to make more HP you need to invest in a set of good heads and instead of spending a lot of money on cast heads look at a set of Sportsman heads in Summit by the time you spend all that money on stock heads you can buy these heads and lose the weight of cast iron.

All the above are just guesses but I saw last summer a guy bring in his 68 Torino GT to Pro Speed it was a 302 and it turned out 478 HP on the dyno after three pulls,it was crazy and I have my doubts about its longevity but still thats pretty cool for a 302.

Your 289 is the same block and set up as the 302 just a different bore and stroke, 1967 is the last year for the 289 and then the 302 replaces it in 1968, same bolt pattern and motor and lots of interchangeable parts. Also the 5.0 HP and the 351 W is the same block so you can mix and match a lot there. Check into specs and books with interchange parts for those engines, lots of hp with all those motors to be had.

i would guess 245-275 at the flywheel. I would get a used head from a 302 before milling your heads. it will increase compression and you will have to use super.
