(7 + √3 )(7 -- √3) = (7)^2 -- (√3)^2 = 49 -- 3 = 46

√(75a^2) / √5 = √(5^2*3*a^2) / √5 = 5a√(3) /√5 = a√5*3 = a√15

Difference of 2 squares: a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)
So in your case a = 7 and b = sqrt 3
7^2 - sqrt(3)^2 = 49 - 3 = 46
2. Assume 75^0.5 x^2 div 5^0.5?
75 ^0.5 = ( 5 x 5 x 3) ^0.5
So 75^0.5 div 5 ^0.5 = (3 x5)^0.5
Ans 15^0.5 x^2

1)

(7 + √3)(7 - √3)

=>49 - 3 = 46 (since (a+b)(a-b) = a^2 -b ^2)

2)

√75a^2 / √5

=>√(5a)^2*5 / √5

=>5a√5 / √5 = 5a

you multiply and add

1st by 1st + 1st by 2nd + 2nd by 1st + 2nd by 2nd

49 + the next 2 terms add to make zero - sqrt 3 times sqrt 3
