how can i help the homeless this cold seson? Iive in Kansas City and down near and in the plaza you will see alot of homeless people. I always feel so bad for them and it really makes me think and be thankful for all i do have. I don't want to give them money b/c you don't know if they go and spend that money on drugs. what can I do, just some small things to help them? And tell them about the love of God.

I met guy 1st yr in college 4 yrs ago. I like him a lot &he says he likes me. I found out he is on &off wit his gf tho. I was already attached b4 I found about the on/off gf. We said we would be just friend but he know how I feel. We dont have sex but mess around . I'm tired of waiting. He says he and is gf dont get along but he keeps getting back w. her even tho they r always fighting and breaking up. He told me he likes me and I have all the qualities hes looking for. He's still on and off wit her but @ same time is callin me everyday as his "friend". He's gonna graduate in June. I feel hes going to leave my city and never come visit (it will be me going to see him as always). Rt now I know his gf is visiting him @ his apt. Im tired of being played but I dont think he's lying when he says he has feelings for me. He needs to make a decision. Should I explain it to him &tell him I cant be his friend b/c this is hurting me & then stop talking to him 2 c if he cares? we're best friends

just having a debate with my cousin over which dog is bigger, i own a lab retriever and she said she wants a rothweiller dog, she claims a lab is bigger than a rothweiller (sorry i think my spelling for it is wrong), i know they would be fatter dogs but are they taller than a lab? i think that a lab would definately be smaller but she claims a rothweiller would be smaller, anyone want to help me prove my point here so i can wipe it in her face ha ha

So I was out at a restaurant with some friends (and friends of friends that I don't really know) and about halfway through the meal someone asked me if I wanted to taste a bite of their dish, and I said "no thanks, I'm vegetarian" since it was a meat dish. She stopped eating at that point, just kind of played around with her food, and ate the sides.

Afterwards, someone else told me that it was rude of me to "remind" her about the fact that it comes from animals, thereby "ruining" her meal.

What do you make of this?

We broke up one week ago, her decision. She wants to be friends. says that we can be friends, start from the beginning, and take things slow. She doesn't want to see me right now bc she says i still have feelings and only when i can be her friend we can see each other..

We started out our relationship really fast from the get go, three weeks of knowing each other and have been dating. for 2 months, until last week.

It is so hard to see her as a friend than a gf.
She says she wants to be single, have fun with her friends..

what should i do?
is it the end?
this is really bothering me.

She has been hanging out with her guy friends and will take vacations with them this holiday. She wont even spend Christmas with me, instead it will be with someone else whom she calls a friend, an the unknown gender, due to information, when i spoke with her three days ago. In doing no contact and will try to heal my inner wounds.. hope i will be okay and over her soon. thx for reading.

I just bought singstar for my ps3(80gig) and it freezes right before it loads any game play. It says to push "x" and right after pushing x the screen seems to freeze. I've tried restarting it, changing controllers, changing from digital to analog, and pushing all different buttons first.

My husband on thanksgivign answer the door and there was a Jehavoh witness, We are baptist we still respect their religion and spoke to them and got their litature. Then as they were leaving my Husband says Happy thanksgiving and Merry Christmas. I about died. The lady turned around and just nodded her head. Once we got the door closed I told my husband I dont think they believe int he same holidays as us. My question is Do they take offense to this while they are knocking on doors?

Upon arriving home in eager anticipation of a leisurely evening, the husband was met at the door by his sobbing wife. Tearfully she explained, "It's the druggist - he insulted me terribly this morning on the phone."

Immediately the husband drove downtown to accost the druggist and demand an apology. Before he could say more than a word or two, the druggist told him, "Now, just a minute - listen to my side of it. This morning the alarm failed to go off, so I was late getting up. I went without breakfast and hurried out to the car, but I'll be damned if I didn't lock the house with both house and car keys inside. I had to break a window to get my keys. Driving a little too fast, I got a speeding ticket. Then, about three blocks from the store I had a flat tire.

When I finally got to the store there was a bunch of people waiting for me to open up. I got the store opened and started waiting on these people, and all the time the darn phone was ringing its head off. Then I had to break a roll of nickels against the cash register drawer to make change, and they spilled all over the floor. I got down on my hands and knees to pick up the nickels - the phone is still ringing - when I came up I cracked my head on the open cash drawer, which made me stagger back against a showcase with a bunch of perfume bottles on it, and half of them hit the floor and broke. The phone is still ringing with no let up, and I finally got back to answer it. It was your wife - she wanted to know how to use a rectal thermometer. Well, Mister, I TOLD HER!"

I don't think age has anything to do with it. I believe a mature individual is willing to take responsibility for his/her actions for the good of others. And since age doesn't have anything to do with it, in my eyes a 11 year old can have this trait and be more mature than a 31 year old man running away from a problem that he caused, unwilling to confess. Who agrees with me and who disagrees? Explain.
