I have a 2000 ford focus. The radiator is cracked and they say I need a new one. I was wondering on estimate how much that would cost.

Along with my circuit problem. I also have a short circuit that needs to be fixed. Does anyone know approx. the amount it would be for both??

My short circuit is for the Dashboard and back lights.... but its all under 1 circuit. Because they changed the fuse and it worked for a day... but then shorted out again.

Any auto parts store (NAPA, Carquest, Auto Zone, Advance Auto) could order on within a day for $75.00 - $125.00 depending where it's made. Generally speaking they all come from either Mexico or China. Go for Mexico if possible. Materials are better.

I couldn't advise you on a "circuit problem" as we don't know where it is or what it involves. A tail or head light would be inexpensive. Dash stuff is an arm and a leg because they usually need to drop the steering wheel and pull the dash out.

Good luck in any event.

Sounds like your short circuit is parking lamps - this would include the dash lights. Was the radiator damaged in an accident? If so, MAYBE the front park light was damaged too and this is where the short circuit is?? Another possibility is if you have a lot of stuff in your trunk and something smacked the rear lamp from inside?? Good luck. Could be $50, could be several hundred.

I found them (radiator) for $95.00 to $120.00 at www.rockauto.com for your car and as far as the short well so many places charge different amounts! It really depends on how severe the fix is Good Luck
