Ok i was watching this show and it was talking about the last major ice age and it said the huge glaciers would move down to like North Carolina and then would move back up to the artic...i was wondering how long it would take to move all the way down to N. Carolina and back?

Help! I have a two year old cat who used to be wild. I tamed her, but she gets a wild streak every once in a while. When you make her mad, she goes and pees over everything. We've tried the difuser, and everything else. I don't really want to fork out MORE money to try to find a solution....so what can I do? She uses the litter box. Again, it is only if you tick her off. Please help?

ok so here's the deal...i LOVE my husband don't get me wrong but i'm seriously getting tired of feeling like i'm just a shadow in his life...i talk to him about my day or even ask him something and he completely ignores me..if something makes him mad..even something small like him having a cold, he takes it out on me...when we run into guys he works with he ignores me, won't introduce me or anything...he acts like a total jerk to people i work with but if i went into his job and treated people the way he does that would be a huge fight...like tonight it's his companies christmas party and where am i at? at home because that means i would have meet people and their families...a mutual friend came into today where i work and noticed i've lost weight and commented about it..i don't even get a compliment from my husband... i swear i feel like myself and my kids are some deep hidden secret he doesn't want anyone to know about...i don't know what to do...

Unseen Misery
There was this girl
Who had a great deal of pain
She been raped and beat

I have a compound bow I recently purchased, and at "full draw" I have a problem with shaking. Any recommendations on what might decrease the shaking I am experiencing? I have a stabilizer currently on the bow, it is 4.5 oz. Should I increase? Should I decrease? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

i am 15 yrs old and my dad has a friend whom the family has known for yrs. 3 yrs ago, we went to see him (my dad + i) and he made comments about my weight. sure there was room for improvement but he asked me how much i weighed. when i told him he told me i must be lying because i looked much heavier. he hurt my feelings, i now have no respect for him or his opinions. i thought you know he was a friend and i didnt realize he was the enemy. it hurt my self-esteem. i became anorexic for a month. im healthy now and happy but i still fault him for that. i was almost 13 then, i didnt know how to handle being called fat. what was worse was my dad took his side and agreed that i was fat. well i havent seen him for 3 yrs and he and his family are coming for x-mas dinner. how can i hold my peace with him when i dont think i have fully forgiven him? i still have so much anger towards him and its making me sick just thinking he'll be at my house on x-mas. how should i handle myself and actions?

Hello, I was just wondering how should I pick my bridesmaids? Some of my best friends have turned out to be people that I don't even know. They have all moved away and changed SO much in the worst of all ways, and now when I talk to them I feel like i'm talking to a complete stranger. Should I have them as my bridesmaids?.. and also, I had one VERY good friend back in high school, we were best friends for about 10 years, and now only talk on occasion. Should I have her as a bridesmaid, or should bridesmaids only be girls who are close to you, and will always be a part of your life?

I was sitting here at home just now and all of a sudden half the lights in the house went off. I thought maybe it was because I was running the space heater at the time, and maybe a circuit got overloaded.

So I went to the switchboard panel, and none of the switches were tripped. Everything is still turned on.

So why did half the lights in the house go off, just like that?

Rigth now it's almost 8 p.m. Eastern time so obviously I can't call an electrician. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

the night a guy i know was shot to death, my friend(who this guy was like a father figure to) had a dream that her mom got shot to death, and so did 2 other of our friends. the next morning she found out that her father figure was murdered.

was this just a coincidence or is it possible that she saw it coming or something?

im in love with my boyfriend of 6yrs. we have a 5 yr old daughter. he is my world for so many reasons. too many for me to name. but on the surface neither one of us is perfect. he has been in prison(twice), been with numerous women, has at least 6 possible kids from 4 different women, he has cheated repeatedly and barely knew the meaning of being "committed", has a long criminal history(none of it violent, well one was but it was justified). he also has never held a legal job. but he has grown and changed and is now a great man and a loving father. i have also cheated many times (including w/ his cousin), ive been with many guys,had a paternity issue w/ him regarding our daughter. ive also done many questionable things to him and have had issues being faithful. most people dont support us. our parents say "go for it". our friends and other family think we're both crazy. we are in love and want to be married. our pasts are just that and we've changed. what should we do?
