Hello fellow people of the Yahoo community. I am faced with a dilemma. My son is 20, he's on track after getting off track 3 years ago by dropping out and not doing anything but play sports. He's planning to attend Baruch College in NYC and major in Finance and investments to be a stock broker. 3 years ago, he made some stupid mistakes. He back then needed money to hang out everyday, so he went and opened a few credit cards in his name(with fake employment and income info) with providian and direct merchants, and opened accounts in my name with himself as co-user so he can use it. Right now, I am getting letters from debt collectors, and the first letter from a law firm attempting to collect a debt for Capital One. I'm about maybe 55000 in debt at the moment, and I am wondering if I report fraud, would he get in major legal trouble and be put away for a long time? Is there a possibility of him getting probabtion since he is a first time offender and had a clean record?

Republican presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee refused to retract a statement he made in 1992 calling for the isolation of AIDS patients. Responding to an Associated Press questionnaire, Huckabee said steps should be taken to "isolate the carriers of this plague" during his failed run for a U.S. Senate seat from Arkansas in 1992.
Huckabee did not explain how individuals with HIV would have been isolated.

Does any one have any experience w/ debt relief.
My sister is in need of some help getting out of her mountains of bills due to a divorce and bad relationship decisions. She does not have the luxury of obtaining a loan to help, due to her terrible credit.
I told her to file for bankruptcy but she wants to avoid that route.
Anyone have experience with this.

They dismiss God because there is no scientific proof of His existence. However, if something in evolution cannot be explained and creationists say "God did it," then atheists fight back by saying we just don't understand that aspect of evolution. Why don't they hold both examples with the same amount of weight? Maybe someday in the future we will have the knowledge to better prove the existence of God. This is the same reasoning many atheists use when dealing with an unexplained issue concerning evolution or the big bang (both of which I believe in). And I am not a creationist.

I posted another question in which I was saying I needed some advice on how to deal with rejection...I made the mistake to say I didn't have to deal with it too much in the past. Well people started saying I'm a stuck up b_ch who finally gets a taste of reality! WHAT? I am very far from that:( My life has been anything but peachy...it just so happened guys liked me in the past...but this one doesn't. I can't believe people would be happy this is happening to me.

Hi I'm an 18 year university student in Ireland who is of chinese descent and I'm wondering is it common that your parents give out about not getting scholarships or not beating your fellow classmates from secondary level in the academic area even though university is almost free here and I got my place in college by a comfortable margin. (515 points in the Leaving Cert exams out of 600 where the average is about 320-380 in the country)?

I feel completely horrible b/c i am hosting christmas dinner for my immediate fmaily this year. Alll of a sudden I am getting calls from my extended family asking me for directions to my house for XMAS. At this point I want to cancel dinner. I really feel like I have been alone all year (no kids, No husband) and my family has not been supportive in any issues that I have had to deal with. My mom has spoken to me since Thanksgiving weekend because I did not take her side in an arguement. So at this point I do not feel like wasting my hard earned money buying gifts for a bunch of ungreatful people. I really would prefer to find a spa and get away for the holidays. I think that I have spent this year alone and i should just finish it off alone. Any thought,s comments????

I'm at a loss as to what to give them for Christmas. They are going to be married in March.

I don't have any idea what to get my brother for Christmas. Nor do I know his fiancee well enough. They live across the country from me and I have not seen their new house. But there is a coffeepot on their wedding registry that I could get them for Christmas.

Is that too cheesy or is it a good idea?

They do not have the intelligence to express themselves with out vulgarity. That means low class.
I do not mean to say all Christians are that way. I will tell you that the ones who are decent come far closer to getting me to do it their way than the ones who are imitating their father mouth.
I am especially referring to "warrior of faith" He is working against Jesus. Keep it up. You are the one who is truly imitating Jesus.
