Let it go. These people are not in your shoes. They don't know the whole story. I agree a lot of people take words very literally and jump to their own conclusions. Maybe it's our brains way of making sense and filling in the gaps. Maybe it's not even intentional. Words are always limited...and they can never explain everything. If we do want to explain everything, we might have to write a lot and sometimes we just dont want to, and sometimes, others dont read things that are long. So it's a catch 22 sometimes.
Inanycase...about what u r going through, am sory about that. But life teaches us so many lessons. We evoke different reactions in people. Some like us instantly, others take a while, and others simply don't. It's okay. As long as U know you are a good person and u r being true to yourself. Continue to have that confidence. The guy by going away, he has made place for somebody who will come along and who Will love you. We don't have much control over these things. Be yourself and dont let this get your self-confidence and self-esteem down. Keep ur chin up....and keep taking care of urself.

Yes, I've had the same problem with yahoo answers too. Found way more people to be cruel then actually just give you advice.
Ive pulled many questions off the open status because of it.
My advice is just concentrate on the good things in your life and just have fun! That special someone will show up when you don't expect it.. I know I just married my sweetie this fall.

We are becoming a society filled with hate-mongers. Many people experience so much pleasure from others displeasure. Go with the flow and rise above them.
I have lived with the following bit of Indian wisdom for a long time. The smile you send out, returns to you.
Enjoy life and understand that non-nice people out there represent a system of checks and balances.
Happy Holidays!

That sounds nasty. .
We all deal with rejection some way or another. .The best way to 'get over it' is to do things for yourself. Build your self worth up again and treat yourself (not food - hair cut, dinner with friends etc).
And remember it happens to everyone and its part of learning about life. . .

All part of growing up. Shake it off and go on.
Every-one has their problems,What really matters is how we deal with them.
These folks may be making fun of you to forget their own problems. If this is the case these people are very Small.
But you need to show them that you are bigger than they are.
Hold your head high, Grin and bear-It.

i feel the same way about some ppls answers. just weed out the stupid ones, they clearly are bitter about something relative going on in thier own lives. and sometimes ya gotta just look beyong the harshness of their words and see if what they are getting at is true.
