My boyfriend of five years and I have been talking seriously of getting married. My friends tell me that I am making a huge mistake because he is the only boyfriend I have ever had. They say that I need to date other men and have my heart broken at least once before making such a commitment. However, I see it differently. I'm a person who likes to learn from other ppl's mistakes and I've learned a lot from my friends' failed relationships. As a result, I know how lucky I am to have my boyfriend. He's handsome, smart, funny, ambitious, compassionate, and incredibly kind to me, my family, and friends. I know it would be hard to find another guy like him. Knowing this, why is it so important for me to date other men and have my heart broken?

In my office we have a tradition to order pizza on each of our employees' birthday. Now, we just hired a vegetarian who today walked into hr office telling the manager> and dont forget to order vegetarian pizza for me today...
I would like to understand what is best to do in this situation.
1) I dont think it is right for him to make HR order vegetarian pizza while we are not vegetarians, but it is right for him to have a vegetarian meal as well
2) Hr offered to buy some slices of vegetarian pizza, but he wants a whole 10" pizza for himself only.

Question, what is the optimal solution to this dilemma, avoiding to offend anyone and create chaos in the office?

hmm i was thinking about this situation. couple of months back my husband was so acting crazy and i had a weird feeling that he doesn't love me anymore and he is just using me for his own visa reasons( we are arranged) so he leaves work at 4:00 pm and i get a call from his work around 30 minutes later and when i pick it up they hang up on me and i ask him he is like i idunno someone probably redialed. i felt like why would professional people redial numbers.its very doubtful. anyways then i find **** about him lying to me. now i am trying to learn how to trust him.what do u people think abt this situation?

Up until recently I had no doubt that I was going to vaccinate my kids and they would both be okay. My husband is totally against vaccinations and didn't want either one of our kids to be immunized, but I did it anyway with my daughter. But now with this new stigma attached to immunizations I'm wondering if I'm the only mother out there debating whether I should or shouldn't. I definitely don't want to put my kids in positions where they could develop autism by being vaccinated, but I also don't want to take the chance of them getting sick because they weren't. My two year old was vaccinated and she is perfectly fine. I'm pregnant with my little boy and although I haven't had any problems with immunizations it's still in the back of my mind. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this??

Call it what you will - "Supply Side Economics" "Reaganomics" "Trickle Down Economics" "Voodo Economics" - its all the same theory that tax cuts for the wealthy will somehow spur growth in our economy and benefit all.

History has proven this theory to be baseless, bogus, and in fact produces opposite results - so why do politicians keep repackaging it, and the very working class that it damages vote for them? Its so stupid! Why? Why?!

I am a retired psychiatric social worker. I have been married twice. In many courses including sociology marriage and family-it indicated that we tend to marry one of our parents (not literally). Parents of both couple's behavior and personality comes out in the individuals. I have seen some of this in both of my marriages. I have always based marriage on love, not a car, a house, or unfortunately, an education. I divorced the first time because he would rather drink than switch. The second one (18 yrs) has mood swings and does stupid violent things like my father. I would like to know what is the best method by which one chooses a mate for life. Men welcome. I especially like men who have remote control drapes. (private)

i want a boyfriend but i have a problem


ah i just don't understand
no guys like me . and i have no friends but I've flirted with guys who have liked me but in the long run we never went out and i am really shy. its not that I'm fat or short because I'm 5 ' 5" and weigh 110 pounds but i just don't understand. so anyhow, i had stopped worrying about getting a boyfriend until recently when I've noticed a lot of people at school walking round holding hands, hugging, etc...and i suddenly wanted a boyfriend really bad. I've never had one before! i want to know what it's like to go out on dates, you know, stuff like that.my friends say I'm a "good-girl" or i appear to be one even though I'm not some goody-two-shoes. do boys not like "good girl" girlfriends? what's up with me? what could i do?BTW, I'm up for changing who i am to get a boyfriend.]
