Does that person realize the agony (s)he is causing and permanent devastation and distrust in members of that gender that the cheating is causing?

Yes, I think they are fully aware!!!!!!! They just really don't care...that they have lived a lie..and have a dark evil side....because it was the chase..or the sex...but what comes around goes around I hope.......No one can ever understand unless it has happened to you personally. Devastation..it is also one of the cruelest froms of hurt..I have been there.

First off, EVERYBODY is not accountable for the actions of one person. So don't blame the gender, blame the person.
Secondly, they only care about themselves, and what they feel, and what they want.
Their partner is irrelevant. The consequences are irrelevant.
Some may have been cheated on in the past. And if they use that as an excuse to cheat and promote revenge, then they have screwed themselves over once again.

I really don't think the cheating person realizes the pain that he or she is causing that other person and all the people that are going to get hurt by doing that. They don't care they are so mean. I have never understood why they cheat? I mean just break it off first with your current someone. If you want to play the field so then go for it don't cheat. Remember Karma will bite you in the *** sooner or later trust me.

There's two kinds of cheaters. One is that kind that's been cheating on and cheats on them to get back. Those type do know what it feels like that's why they do it. To cause pain to them as much as they hurt. The second cheater is the type that goes around to sleep with females/males just cause they have no respect for themselves of the loved one they are with. And I think they feel pain but it's not for their pattern it's for themselves.

That's a good question because if the cheater proclaims to love his or her mate the thought of sleeping with someone else should never cross their minds, but it does. Then, when they get caught, they start feeling bad. It's only when they get caught. If they can continue living a double life, they would.

I would guess they have been cheated on before so that is why they do it, and then there is some people in this world that just dont care about others, selfish. I cheated once because my wife cheated on me, we have never done it again 15 years later.

A cheater is not thinking about anyone but themselves so no I doubt they realize what they are doing and how they are hurting others because that would require them to actually think beyond themselves...

no some people dont now that what they do to us really hurts all of us in the end i think that once a cheater always a cheater
