I want to go to an acting school where you have to audition to get in. You need to act out a monologue, and I have NO idea what monologue to do! One of my friends goes there, and she said NOT to do:
1.) Wicked
or
2.) One of those monologues for teens. She says those never get in. PLEASE HELP!! I REALLY WANT TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!

I am part of a philosophy club and it seems that many of the other members are becomeing a bit fatigued with just sitting around and talking. Usually we end up in a sub group of twos and threes and I am trying to think of ways to keep the whole group engaged together. If you are in a philosophy club yourself I would love to hear what a typical meeting is like or philosophical activitys you have done.
I think we still have plenty of topics, but if you have a really interesting one you would like to share, I am open to ideas.

First of all my husband and I moved from a high cost of living/poor market area to a low cost of living/buyers market. Good for us except that it took us 9 months to sell our old house and a few more months to recover from that financially! We are lucky enough to be renting a 4 bedroom acreage for only 450 a month but we are itching to find a house to buy. We live out in the country and my husband makes about $20,000 more than the average family income and I stay home with our 3 kids but we don't have the best credit. We have been considering waiting until the summer and paying off the last of our debt...not much, only a couple grand, but we are also considering paying off one or both of our cars to make our monthly budget easier. Each of our loans has about 8800 left on it..his has 1.9% and mine is 18%. We have a mortgage company that will help us get a loan and all we need to come up with is a couple grand as long as we don't get a buyer's agent and let them act as ours. Ideas

one child began admonishing another child for not saying grace to god.

The other child looked rather bewildered and later came up and asked me what "god" was? How can you answer this, in a secular way. I was stumped.

I told him some people believe in a "god", but I don't think that really helped him. He just didn't get the concept of "god".

What would you have done. Remember this is a public school, and although I am an atheist, I do know what "god" is, but I didn't want to be accused of preaching when the intent was informing...

Like my whole live, everyone has always been stronger than me, i've always struggled to do pushups, etc. I now know some people are just naturally stronger, but is it possable that I won't gain much muscle mass since I wasn't blessed with gaining muscle genetics? :(

is there any job you can think of where i can work from home with these degrees?
I have a newborn and want to help my husband by making some money other than him having to make 100& of our income but we cannot afford daycare and i do not want to put our son in daycare anyways. I have heard of people working from home but cant find any legit companies. please help!

Your TREE would be something standing tall… probably your trademark as well. Been there always. I would say something that is just naturally you.

Your FLOWERING SHRUB would be something that attracts people about you, and the more you nourish it, the more it stands out. I am imagining a pink Daisy bush. *wink*

Your WEED would be something that you are fighting against, or trying to quit, or trying to improve. You keep pulling it out, but when you see, it’s back again. Yet you know it is possible to remove it permanently, you just need to know how.
