Yes I have seen a ufo, It was in 2000 and it was triangle shape with no lights and no sound whatsoever, It was just hovering in the sky and then it just took off at a very high speed upward and was gone,, I know what I seen and it was very real and it can not be explained,, And ufos are not a paranormal phenomina or nothing to do with bigfoot or ghosts they are very real , Just because A person does not believe in them for what ever reason that is no reason to disbelieve others who have seen them and they do belong in the space section because thats where they come from, It is science and activly being studied by science so you are in fact in the right section, dont be fooled by someone pushing their personal belief off on you,,

The mexican ufo disclosure conference

Here is a video that is very interesting and i would love to see them explain it as a hoax because after all it is from the mexican government

I have. But it just looked like a blinking star and I do not think it was an alien space ship.

I suppose that's one way to get people to go to your space.

UFO's have no proof or evidence. That's why yahoo has a category for them under Alternative - Paranormal Phenomena along with ghosts and bigfoot etc.

The nearest exoplanet found is 10.5 light years away. It is not even Earth-like. It is the size of Jupiter.

Let's assume that this planet has aliens who have discovered a way to travel 1/2 the speed of light. At this rate, it would take them 21 years to travel to Earth. So what you are saying is these aliens travelled 21 years in spaceflight to fly above Mexico for a few minutes and then travel 21 years back to their planet again???

Don't you think that after a 21 year spaceflight to explore the possibility of life on a planet of a different star than theirs they would explore the entire planet? Wouldn't the aliens land and communicate with Earthlings? Wouldn't they establish a long-term relationship between our planets?

If you don't agree that UFO's belong in the paranormal category, you are speaking out of emotion not science. Here is the definition of paranormal by wiki:

Paranormal is an umbrella term used to describe a wide variety of reported anomalous phenomena that are beyond normal experience or scientific explanation. The term is used to describe subjects studied under parapsychology, which deals with psychic reported phenomena like telepathy, extra-sensory perception, psychokinesis, and post-mortem survival studies like reincarnation, ghosts, and hauntings. However, as a broader category, the paranormal sometimes describes subjects outside the scope of parapsychology, including anomalous aspects of UFOs, some creatures that fall under the scope of cryptozoology, purported phenomena surrounding the Bermuda Triangle, and many other non-psychical subjects.

Presenting UFO evidence is far from being a scientific approach. It is an anecdotal approach:

An anecdotal approach to the paranormal involves the collection of anecdotal evidence, which is an informal account of something that presumably happened. Anecdotes are often in contrast to empirical evidence, which are types of formal accounts that can be investigated using the scientific method. The anecdotal approach is not a scientific approach to the paranormal because it leaves verification dependent on the credibility of the party presenting the evidence. It is also subject to such logical fallacies as cognitive bias, inductive reasoning, lack of falsifiability, and other fallacies that may prevent the anecdote from having meaningful information to impart. Nevertheless, it is a common approach to paranormal phenomena.

If I came out of the woods and told you that I saw a devil monster with wings does this now mean that devil monsters with wings exist? Are they now part of the American government policy as being true?

I am sure that the Mexican government could use an extra free $1,000,000.

Former stage magician, James Randi, is a well-known debunker of paranormal claims. As a skeptic with a background in illusion, Randi feels that the simplest explanation for those claiming paranormal abilities is trickery. He is also the founder of the James Randi Educational Foundation and its famous million dollar challenge offering a prize of US $1,000,000 to anyone who can demonstrate evidence of any paranormal, supernatural or occult power or event, under test conditions agreed to by both parties.

The word paranormal consists of two parts: para and normal. In most definitions of the word paranormal, it is described as anything that is beyond or contrary to what is deemed scientifically possible. The definition implies that the scientific explanation of the world around us is the 'normal' part of the word and 'para' makes up the above, beyond, contrary, or against part of the meaning.

Para has a Greek and Latin origin. Its most common meaning (the Greek usage) is 'similar to' or 'near to', as in paragraph. In Latin, para means 'above,' against,' 'counter,' 'outside,' or 'beyond'. For example, parapluie in French means 'counter-rain' – an umbrella. It can be construed, then, that the term paranormal is derived from the Latin use of the prefix 'para', meaning 'against, counter, outside or beyond the norm.'

Paranormal: Cryptozoology, Forteana, Ghosts, Haunted locations, Mysticism, New Age, Occult, Paranormal fiction, Paranormal explanations for UFOs, Parapsychology, Psychics, Supernatural, UFOs, UFO reported sightings.

I think it's great to have an open mind. But it is dangerous to believe everything shown on a video or everything shown on the internet 1- as being true without the possibility of a deliberate hoax or fake or a misinterpretation of some natural phenomena and 2- believing that everything that cannot be explained to be an alien controlled spaceship. Such would not be science.

I personally await the day when contact with an alien civilization is established. However, as of December 2007, such contact does not exist. It does not exist in Mexico or any other country on Earth.

Has anyone seen a UFO? Yes.

Are any of these UFO's alien spacecraft? There is no evidence as of December 2007 that would scientifically prove it.

Emotional opinions offer no proof and do not remove UFO's from the paranormal category.

There is no evidence that the phenomena comes from space.
