If Christmas was totally ignored by the media - no stories, no coverage, additionally NO ADS, no advertisement in radio, television, in newspapers etc - And if people only recognized Christmas because they remember it in their heart (the way they remember birthdays) then it would not be as big, as happy, as colorful as Christmas is today. The media and retailers sews the seeds and we all go to the harvest!

Not for me.

I'm happy all the time. It's amusing to watch all the people who give nothing to anyone and are miserable all the rest of the year suddenly get all loving and generous. Very Dickensian.

It's also interesting how many people try to force gifts upon their token atheist. "You're getting a gift whether you want one or not!" Holy forced altruism!
