I believe that sine the big bang the universe has expaneded, stars and planets formed and molecules formed and self-organized, and evolved to make us and all of the other life here and elsewhere.
What does this have to do with creation? I asked a friend who is a physicist what was there BEFORE the big bang, and he just shrugged. There are pretty much only two answers: nothing or God. Only one of those makes sense to me.
And BTW, my god is powerful enough, that he didn't NEED to literally create each thing specifically. He is so powerful that he made the laws of physics and controls probability to allow for everything that has happened since the big bang to occur, and everything that is coming, according to a plan that we have no clue about, no matter how many ways you misread the Bible.

I think that, if you were to wipe history clean so we had no memory of any Jesus or Darwin, but were free to observe as we are now, we would eventually come up with the Theory of Evolution again. The same data is out there, and it would lead to the same theorizing, testing, and formulation of the theory.
On the other hand, while I think organized religion would spring up again (for many reasons, a lot of them cynical, but some quite altruistic) I doubt we would ever end up talking about Jesus, or the holy trinity.
People know about Jesus because other people tell them the stories. Erase the stories and there's not much left. The evidence for evolution is all around us, waiting to be discovered whether we like it or not.

I believe in both. Its called Deism. There are several sects of Buddhism and Hinduism that believe in both as well. In Deism, the concept of Miracles, Mysticism, and Divine Direction is replaced with Reason, but there is a belief that there is a spiritual side of life that is currently unable to be understood, and all of the religions of the world have been other attempts to interpret it.

You could believe in both using the idea that some form of life was created and then left to evolve independently. Most people are pretty militant one way or the other.

Evolution is the one that has a mass of evidence to back it up and is supported by the body of scientific research.
Creationism is faith based.

Pretty much mutually exclusive.
I can't believe that dinosaurs existed alongside man at the same time that I believe they died out millions of years before hominids roamed the earth.

I believe in both. I believe in creation, but we have obviously evolved since then and we're still evolving.

Sure you can...you can believe that the Universe was created billions of years ago and that it was designed to evolve. That's what I believe...

I believe in creation, but it's also obvious that some species have adapted over time to their environment etc.
I just don't believe that a bird used to be a lizard, or a man used to be a monkey. If that was true, there would still be half evolved species on earth, and there aren't.
