That's something I never understood when I was going to Christian schools growing up. I don't know anyone, even Christian family and friends, who enjoy being tortured or abused. I can't imagine anything that is worth going through that type of thing. Yet the Bible and many churches teach that suffering makes them closer to God. If God is that sadistic, I wouldn't want anything to do with him.

I remember my dreams like once a year but I had a recent one that I can't shake. I dreamt my husand was choking me to death and then I woke up but not really because once again I was in the same situation, him choking me. I went through this cycle of him choking me and me "waking up" about 5 or 6 times before I actually did wake up and he was sitting there reading a magazine I started freaking out and screaming "get away from me" (because I thought I was still in this dream) what could this mean?

we really like each other he is coming for 3 months if we fall in love and decide to marry can he stay in the USA or would he have to leave and file? We both are confused. He is also coming in the winter time and I really would love for him to stay until summer to really see the beauty of my home town. We want to know if we don't marry can he extend his stay by maybe going to canada and back and get another 3 months. I live in TX... a 91 yr old man went to go pay a utility bill a week ago n never went back home. Obviously he lost his way home...He did have dementia.... here's the f*d up thing... the police dept couldn't put out a "silver alert"<--like the amber alert... right away since he a DR. never authorized he had dementia..
They finally decided to put the "silver alert"out yesterday... after 5 days...yes 5 days...
They found him this morning...he passed away...
What are your thoughts on this stupid "silver alert"...I would think at a certain age anyone should qualify for the alert...
It bugs me because my grandpa passed away from alzheimers...
What are your thoughts on this sad event?

Hi...I had my baby two weeks ago and I tore upwards toward my urethral opening instead of a normal perineal tear. I was just wondering how long would it take to heal...I had 2 stitches and I'm not having any real pain..just a little mild discomfort. Also, is it absolutely necessary to wait the full 6 weeks before having sex again? Thanks.

I was given local anaesthetic 2 days ago while the doctor stitched up my face... now part of my face is totally numb but this is no the part that was stitched up / anaestesised... that part I can feel again (above my eye) but my nose and part of my cheek are totally numb... a few days ago I was kicked in the face many times... is it numb because of the anaesthetic or because it is heavily bruised?

Also one of my eyes cannot open fully, I can see from it but it is heavily bloodshot(the part that is normally white is all red).. I am worried about internalt bleeding... some parts of my face hurt - others I cannot feel at all
