What model of printer do you have?

If your printer has an RJ45 jack yes, you probably can. if it does not, pretty much no.
You can share it on a pc and have that act as the print server...

If it does have an rj45 (ethernet) jack, it will also very likely have a small web interface in which you can configure it's ip address and other networking parameters.

There are two ways. You can use a network interface card in the printer if it is equipped to accept one. HP higher end units are usually built in and will give information in the owners manual and set-up software. If not capable, then you can get a wireless print server device that allows the router to wirelessly be connected to the printer with an assigned IP address. You can get a hardwire unit also if you want to go that way. Go to the Linksys web site and search print server for a listing of the devices.
